Now when you scroll through photos, tap on one to look at, and then go back to scroll through more photos, the drop down menu comes down and you have to close it before you can look at more photos. Cropping photos doesn’t work as good as it used to either. Don’t try to fix what isn’t broken.

The old layout, where you can see sections for each day, worked totally fine. Now I can’t find my photos because the dates are missing! Why did you need to change it? Even though you now have the sections back in some way, it can only show day sections with very large thumbnails. It used to be that you can section photos by day but still have smaller thumbnails, which is great for scanning through a large amount of photos. Now it’s ruined. This whole UI change thing is a bad, bad idea. Feels like someone came up with an idea to be more like Apple Photos, and forced it to users without actually understanding how users use it.

The new update sucks! The magic eraser tool doesn’t work now. Instead of being able to delete small details or sections, you can only delete sections. This is major regression…

App has been randomly creating duplicate screenshot photos. Has been doing this for years. Either the devs don't care or they aren't able to fit it.

The main reason I use this app is for the eraser feature. Instead of updating it to make it easier to erase smaller parts, it’s become practically useless.

What happens in Google Photos is incredible and amazing. I can now search for Photos that would be like pulling needles on her haystacks. And the compilations of memories that you creates is also nothing short of incredible and amazing. I only wish there were a way to more easily delete unwanted photos.

Continuously lets me walk down memory lane while capturing my present moments and I am very thankful for this app.
