The app is very buggy and will often be unable to complete charges. It has great deals but you won’t be able to order from them with the amount of bugs. I’ve ordered on the app 4 times recently and it only truly went through once. Then I go to the store and they don’t have it and I’m out of time.
They fixed the app, and briefly went back to the stamp system that everybody liked, where 4 footlongs would earn you a free sub. Then they took it all away, and went back to a “reward” system that nobody wanted — now you have to spend $40 before they give you a $2 “reward”. Thats trash. Also, I had just earned a free sub with the stamps, and now that’s gone too. Subway had briefly launched upward on my fast food rankings, and now I’m back to only ordering there when there’s a really good offer.
Gotta be one of the worst apps I have ever come across if you forget your password forget about it. You have to create a whole new email and get a brand new phone number to create a new account. This thing sucks customer service on fixing that don’t even think about it might as well check out as guest, which denies you all the benefits with the codes when you’re trying to get a discount.
It was my first job and comfort food. Can never go wrong with a sub, app still has such great deals too
This app literally always crashes once you add stuff to your bag and if you try to change it to curbside pickup. It will crash and say something’s wrong. You can refresh your bag and tell it to take you to the Home Screen but it will literally keep doing that loop. Never fixes itself even if you log out and log back in. So frustrating.
Anything they tuch turns into garbage and scam they have a deal but you can’t sign in
I order on this app and was billed twice and didn’t receive any order or anything I’m angry and hungry i want my money back for the items I ordered and didn’t receive!!!!
I highly enjoy payments not going through, refusal to accept cash for deals unlike Starbucks, and general poor design. Amazing. At least I’ll save my money by not purchasing from here.
Even the people who work at the local store says this app sucks! Cannot do a double payment (ie gift card & venmo). Rather than telling me that, the app put a hold on the venmo portion of payment and the order never went thru. I had to go to the store to use the gift card? Venmo is holding my funds hostage for 10 days on the failed order. I think I hear JJohns calling now!

How many updates does a corporate sandwich app really need? Almost EVERY TIME I want to order subway I need to update the app first. ITS ON VERSION 30.21.2 DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY UPDATES THAT IS??? The app is already slow, now you’re adding an extra step that changes practically NOTHING. The app is basically a web page, just tidied up for mobile devices. UPDATE IT LESS FREQUENTLY OR AT LEAST DONT MAKE EVERY. SINGLE. UPDATE. MANDATORY.

Since the new manager took over the Phelan branch it’s been so much friendlier and the employees make me feel so welcome.
The app is constantly glitching. Yesterday I tried placing an order for curbside pickup. My Apple Pay went through and everything. When I arrived to the store, I tried to go into the app to notify the store that I was outside but the app was glitching so terribly to where it made it seem as if I never placed an order. The app advised me to sign out and sign back in; I did so, and still nothing. I went inside the restaurant to ask the cashier if my order went through, and he notified me that it did not. I was still charged for an order that I did not receive. Subway has no type of customer service number to where I can speak to a human being to see what could be done about this issue. This is not the first time this has happened. The app glitches so terribly and the website is even worse. Subway, please fix your app.
My son texted my order in to my town from his town New Orleans! 1500 miles away snd my order was ready to pick up in 15 minutes! Amazing!
Ordered on app, sent to store to pickup and they have no record of order. Card charged and will not honor rewards in app to reorder at store….noone can refund my card, no cust service number…what a waste of time. lost me as a customer!
This app is terrible. I have not been able to order using it for several years and have almost stopped going to Subway altogether

I left feedback over a year ago about the fact that your app doesn’t allow you to reset your password from a mobile device because some type of error in the UX and loading once you press “submit.” Still not fixed. Super frustrating.
