Tubi: Movies & Live TV

I am loving Tubi because I get to catch up on a lot of movies I grew up watching! There is so many I haven’t seen in so long!!!! I absolutely love the app! I had originally downloaded just to watch a movie my sister in law recommended but when I browsed through and saw all the other options there was omg it has been my favorite! I’ll be going on maternity leave soon and it’s nice to know I’ll have some good movies to watch in the hospital and at home! I’m excited!

It costs no money, has very few adds, and has so many options! LOVE IT

No matter how I click the play button whether by home screen recents or by searching the title and resuming, the play button won’t click. I have an iPad 9th generation, I updated last night and it worked but today again not working. Uuuugh!!!

Really need in my country ( Nigeria ) and can’t find some movies I want to watch here

Tubi is so great for taking you out of emotional moments! Use Tubi if you never want to become entangled in what you watch, because they will insert 6 ads right at the emotional/climactic/heartwrenching moments. Even in between sentences! Never cry at emotional arcs again, never get scared watching a horror, and never become invested in great characters again with this app! Don’t worry if you don’t see tons of ads at first, for the really good movies they’ll insert the majority of ad breaks every five minutes of the last hour of a movie to keep you from truly feeling the power of those pesky final scenes 🥰

I like Tubi. However I updated the app and there’s a big glitch. Movie starts and plays great. Then it’s time for a commercial. The transition seems smoother with the update (7-24) but when the commercial ends the movie starts completely over. Some movies are worse than others but it’s terribly annoying. And how about fixing it so that the commercials start themselves? That’s really old. I don’t mind the commercials but definitely don’t like having to get up and go start them. What’s that all about. Edit add 10-30-24. It’s getting better. Wish a series could start the next episode. Now I have to start each program. And why do I have to start commercials manually if I quit the app, send a text and then reopen the app? That’s a real pain. Edit add 11/6/2024. Is there a way to identify which movies will not play using an Apple video adapter? Please. What a pain trying to start one OLD movie after another only to get a black screen? Please? 1/24/2026. I would still really appreciate a way to identify which movies will not play when using a video adapter. The app operates very smoothly. You’ve done a great job with it. But I recently tried to play 8 movies in a row that wouldn’t show. 3-20-2026 Why are movies stopping shortly before they end? Some barely start and the little wheel starts spinning and they never play? I update the app regularly. 3/21/2026 this is now the most frustrating app out there. I know. It’s free. Well the advertisers aren’t getting their money’s worth. Now it’s rare if you can hit “Play” and have a movie play more than 30 seconds before it stops and the little wheel starts turning never to stop. On the very rare occasion it does try to play it can’t make it through an entire movie without stopping. You then have to back out to the title page and click “Resume” and hope that it will. Very disappointing. It was working so well. April 1, 2026 - the degradation is almost complete. Tubi has gone almost completely to garbage. From one of the best performing apps to sheer BS. I am guessing Fox just doesn’t give a damn. April 5, 2026: as impossible as it seems this app is getting worse. Is this a test to see how cheaply you can operate so you can still sell advertising? Tried to play at least 10 movies and not a single one could play. Not one. Something has really changed and I suspect it’s all about money. April 6, 2026: Absolute trash app. If the goal is to destroy what was a very good app then you’re close to accomplishing it. I wonder if Disney knows nobody can see the endless Disneyland ads if they can’t watch any movies. “Something Went Wrong”. The standard message you get. Or that the content couldn’t be loaded and try again later. Even lousy Pluto is no worse than Tubi. 4-11-2026: you have some big huevos to keep selling commercial time when almost NOTHING will play. Tried to watch 20+ movies and not a SINGLE ONE would play. Instead “Something Went Wrong”. It went wrong for me trying to use this app that has turned into garbage.

A recent Tubi update for iOS turned on auto play of previews when Tubi is launched. How to stop this? All auto play settings are off but previews still play.

There’s ample nostalgia. All kinds of memorable television and cinema! I don’t mind the breaks. 🤷🏾‍♂️

The app itself is good but when you switch you need a password

I used to be able to watch movies and tv shows but now all I get is buffering. Other free streaming services don’t do this to me.

I’ll get 00:06 seconds into a movie or a show and won’t ever load the rest you guys have bugs or something you need to fix maybe a new update I deleted the app and redownloaded it to see if that’s a problem and still the same thing nothing is wrong with my WiFi I have string connection honestly very disappointed I’ve used this app for a very long time and only just recently just quits on me before I can even get to the movie/show

That keeps on buffering when I’m watching a show it’ll stop in the middle of the show just to buffer. It never comes back on again.

It may be good to promote monthly features on one or two movie stars a month. Please don’t forget my three sons series would like to also see more kid shows like schoolhouse rock, Captain Noah, or other educational shows from the 70s for children today

I love this so much and the YouTuber Matthew Raymond was in it. I love it so much. This is gonna be my favorite movie. I can’t wait for creepy van 2

Movie is Norwegian and there are no subtitles which is a serious problem for the English only viewers and the deaf. Without knowing what the characters are saying you only have a partial understanding of what is happening.The movie was interesting but formulaic.

Tubi app for iPhone is TERRIBLE. Always crashes even if on stable internet and updated.

Everytime I try to watch something it buffers the whole time and I can never complete a show or movie. Then I start watching and it buffers again then it tells me something went wrong. You guys need to fix this app with an update asap!!!!!! It’s getting ridiculous. It happens everyday and it needs to get fixed like now!! I can’t even skip through a movie cause it just has that buffering circle the whole time. You need to fix this now!!!!!

I find more on Tubi that I love to watch than any other streaming app. THANK YOU 💚
