Was looking for JUST this thing and feel great about paying the measly fee for the license. I really like the clear and easy to understand language on the privacy page. Great job, Derrick. I’m a D1 fan from IG and it’s exciting to see your growth.

Thank you for creating this! It will definitely help with content creation. I do have a request in your updates. Is it possible to change the exposure settings? iPhones tend to film lighter. Unless there is something I need to set on my phone. Thanks again and congratulations 🎉🥳.

I’ve been wanting someone to make an app like this for years! The fact that this exist makes me happy. Did I just learn how to do selfie mode from watching his video on Instagram. Yes I did. I actually love this app so I’m giving it five stars and I’m also going to say this. Feature Request: Being able to control where the export of the video goes. Be able to have flash with the front camera as well. Ability to have a timer for the camera. Also, it would be nice to have pop-ups to explain between dual vision, which is technically back camera and single vision meaning front camera. I’m excited to see where this app goes!

Unfortunately, my phone doesn’t have the wide lens so it fails every time. It’s more for regular iPhones and iPhone pros. Hopefully they will come out with a single lens which will shoot front and back simultaneously.

This app has made my recording journey so much easier from the jump. As a newbie to content creation, the time im saving from setting up, arranging and editing from multiple devices is now being used to brainstorm on new topics, script, locations, and pitching to brand partners.

It would be nice that if your storage was full on your phone that you could keep it in the app for sometime so you can free up space if that was the case. I had lost some important footage and I noticed compared to recording on my phone to recording in DualShot that there is some pixelation and the app itself had to put it down to 1080 to export it instead of 4K because of hardware compatibilities my iPhone 14

If you’re a content creator you know how big this could be…. That being said quality is very important and I’m seeing the second ratio that is being filmed is a little blurry. Possibly having to do with the .5 filming lens on iPhone. Happy I purchased.

This is an excellent app. Solves the creators problem of shooting both vertical and horizontal content at the same time with a single device!

I go to concerts often and I debate on which song I’ll record portrait for social media and landscape for my own viewing, when I want to reminisce of the concert later on. And now I don’t have to decide. I can record all songs and have both options of videos.

I love the concept of the app and the fact that you can record in 4K. However, that being said while recording I did lose some footage. Once I had my clip recorded, I clicked save and it basically popped up with “ there was an error saving your footage” and just like that poof, it was gone. It happened twice before I stopped using the app and went back to the manual way. It’s a pretty serious bug and i won’t be able to use the app until it’s fixed. I’m really hoping it will because it does have a lot of potential

My best quality photos/videos are from my back camera and I’m glad I can use this app for that. So glad you made this for us when so many probably sat on the idea. Uploading my first video tmrw using this app & im excited to tag you. Looking forward to enjoying this app!

Loving this app! However, as a DIYer I used it today to record something and the recording wouldn’t save and it disappeared. Which really sucks because it’s not a shot that I can just reshoot. Aside from that I’m loving the app, will switch to 60fps after using it today since I speed the video up a lot of the time.

Such a great idea! Game changer for content creators! Let it be known that DualShot is the first of its kind.
