Moment Pro Camera II

I have been with moment since 2021. I have not been disappointed and with the new update( 4 options saved settings ) it works perfectly.

I sold my Dji action 6 to use my iPhone for my running content, I paid for the app but, the app is so sluggish, it freezes, it locks and when I go to review the footage I can’t because it freezes. I like using the app but it’s not stable at all or reliable

Latest update will launch app for about a second then disappear. Phone restart does not fix. On latest OS. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixes. Can repo crash by selecting 100fps in video mode (even though it is grayed out). Crashes and have to uninstall reinstall to recover.

Working as expected, looking forward to future updates

Beautiful results from the natural processing mode. It certainly feels much closer to an actual dedicated dslr in your pocket. I also have a laundry list of things I’d love to have eventually (long exposure, 48 megapixels in natural mode etc) but happy to pay full price for a great camera app as is and not another subscription model to support further feature development. I currently mapped Moment’s camera and Apple’s camera on two different buttons and depending on what Im shooting happy using both. Keep it coming team and excited to see what’s next!

Zoom in need stability

Not ony do my lenses I spent $550 to enhance my photos don't fit the camera app doesn align with them.

Made a mistake buying this. Since Apple made the camera controls in iOS 26 unusable, I thought I would try another app with more easily accessible controls. Using an iPhone 14+, this app simply does not work. The layout of the controls is good, but shooting either a tiff or raw file producers extremely grainy and unusable photographs compared to the higher quality of the photos shot by the native iPhone app, even though the controls on that app or a mess. Sorry I bought this waste of money.

Moment app takes way too long to load on iPhone 17 Pro. I tried using it as my default camera app because of the fantastic features, but it’s so slow to open using the camera button. I’m waiting 5+ seconds for the app to load, often missing my opportunity for a photo. The app also takes a long time to save photos to my camera roll, sometimes not saving until I open the app again. The photography features are great, but the app performance is too poor to replace the default camera app.

What’s the point of a pro app if you can’t do long exposures

It's an amazing app that has helped me replace about 3 apps for photo and video. This app does it all, BUT with a few things missing or needing improvement. The stabilization feature is great, I just wish the amount of stabilization could be adjusted and for a level that stabilizes more "cinematically" like the Blackmagic camera app. There's no point to having the peak sharpness highlighting feature if it never works no matter how I switch the option or force restart the app and my phone. This has never worked. It needs options for slow shutter as well as burst mode, for light streaks and sports photography. Would love to see an option to save at least 3-5 custom presets per mode: video and photo, with option to name them and add icons.

There’s so much to like about this app when comparing to other options for the iPhone. Sure, there are a few minor features it doesn’t have, but there are so many that it does. Love the fact that you can control LUT intensity. Auto ISO. Intuitive UI. The one feature that needs to be added to make this a 5 out of 5 is lock ISO on record. Please add it. Not sure why it isn’t there by default.

Almost all 3rd party camera apps don’t utilize the native camera “fake lens” modes that give you selective blur after taking a photo or video. I know Moment sells lenses to do this, but really this is the one area it and most camera apps fall flat. I keep going back to the native camera app unless I need to isolate the camera to a specific lens. That’s all Moment 2 is useful for since I really do like those two modes. Who always carries a real lens in their pockets? Not me. Please add support for this, it would make it the best.

I got this to try it out and see how it would do with my iPhone 17 pro max and it sucked the video camera doesn’t even work. Honestly very disappointed because the app was not free. Black Magic Camera app is much better and it’s free.

I been testing it out lately and I must say this app has potential and there interface is really clean

I was skeptical at first, that I needed a dedicated cam for my iPhone. I’ve always been fine with Apple’s native cameras and the latest one has some great new features. However, as a photographer for the last 45 years… this ProCamera ii by Moment scratches all the itches I have when using a smart phone as a camera. It even has features that I didn’t know I needed. I’ve known smart phone cameras would eventually replace legacy cameras for most use. I even published photo books using the iPhone 3. The original reason I bought this app is because it’s not subscription and it allows me to use and desqueeze anamorphic lenses, as well as import and bake LUTs into my images… but this app is so much more and does just about everything the way I’d do it if I was designing my own custom camera. At first I was hesitant that it didn’t support recording to external devices, but as soon as I pulled the trigger… an update came out that now supports external recording. For images too! And, it intelligently lets you specify where photos get saved as well as video… and remembers these settings unless you change it. I love the free Blackmagic camera app for video, but more and more… I’m starting to favor this Moment app for video too. The interface is less cluttered and gets out of the way when you need it to. Enthusiastically Highly Recommended!!!

Literally turned my iPhone into a DSLR with the natural mode, 10/10

First became aware of the Moment Camera app after coming across one of their YouTube videos, after watching other user reviews of the app I went ahead and bought it. Works great on my base model iPhone 17 and I can shoot in Raw, something the default Apple camera doesn’t allow on the iPhone 17 base model. The “Natural” mode is nice if you don’t want the over processed look of phone cameras and don’t want to spend time editing a Raw file. For me camera apps are more for convenience as my main camera is a 1DX but if you don’t have a traditional camera or prefer to just use your camera phone the Moment ll Camera app is a fantastic alternative.
