AutoSnore: Snoring Recorder

Like the one time fee vs dreaded monthly subscription and integration with their other app AutoSleep. Only downside is that one has to start this one manually whereas AutoSleep starts automatically, hence its name.

My husband told me I snore and I would always reply “I don’t think I do.” However, with AutoSnore, it’s hard to deny his allegations. Every morning I’m shocked by the recorded number of snores. It works.

There are other apps that do a much better job of capturing the sounds (the play back sound is very low and the graphics are boring) and the “snork scores” is juvenile. It does report to another sleep app I have, from the same company, that is very well done so that’s nice

I am like many others who discovered ( after reading the reviews) that this app won’t work if you like to listen to a podcast before going to sleep. Hopefully there will be an update to correct this soon. Had high hopes and expectations as the AutoSleep app is great , but this one definitely lets the side down.

Calls every sound you make a snore. Could be my. Lack of knowledge of tech stuff

Does this app actually detect snoring or does it just assume ever sound is a snore based on your sensitivity setting?

The UI is very clunky compared to another similar app I’ve used. It does not give you the ability to remove items that were incorrectly detected as snores (as in vehicles driving by). But the dumbest thing is, for example, last night I only had 9 snores (none of which were legit) yet I still somehow have a “snurk” score of 67? So if you are using this to try and gain more insight in the Autosleep app, don’t bother. Money and time wasted.

After 3 days, you cannot turn the snore monitor off. And when snore app is running it uses huge battery capacity. The “off” button disappears. Tried turning off phone but it keeps snore counting. Terrible experience. I deleted the app to get program to stop. Sad. .

They will not let you cancel your subscription when you want to delete your subscription

It only works about half the time. On the days that it fails I cone back to the app and it only shows “Start” and not “Stop”. It show the number of snores but the timeline is empty. The Dynamic Island continues to show the timer like it is running. When it works it is fine. I like the fact that it is a one time purchase,

This app should be automatic when you go to sleep. Not something you have to manually turn on it’s annoying and keep forgetting to. Defeats the purpose

Autosleep is amazing and I expected that from this app. Should start recording when autosleep starts recording sleep. None of the hit start nonsense which gets messed up if you wake up mid sleep. And live activity is totally messed up. Please fix it.

At this point I will basically buy any app this team releases day one, even if I don’t see a need for it (long time user of HeartWatch, AutoSleep, etc.). This one is personal though, because I’ve been a snorer for a LONG time. For years my wife has been telling me how bad my sleep is, and while I never doubted her, I also don’t think it could be that bad. After a week of use I now know better. This app is great for capturing what’s happening while you’re asleep, I’m now planning to collect a month’s worth of data and go my doctor and ask about what I should do next. Thanks team, please keep these great apps coming!

I bought this because this developer’s excellent app AutoSleep auto Snore should be an optional add on to AutoSleep. It requires manual daily on and off setting and does not detect snoring well the developer should ashamed of this poor quality app.

I currently have the AutoSleep app and love it so I was excited to see that they came out with a snoring recording app. Unfortunately, it’s been very buggy it has yet to record any snoring even though Auto sleep shows sleep apnea. I have to reboot my phone to stop the app. Hope they work out these issues.

I had expected similar performance to AutoSleep which I have been using for a number of years. I can’t even tell if this is working at all. The help page says get support from the app; the app is sending me to the help page. Which telling me the best support is from the app. I sleep with a breathing device so there should at least be background. I used “Sleep Cycle” until they started charging. I had no problem with that app.

I press stop in the morning but keeps going, it would be good for it to start with my bedtime automatically like your sleep app does. It syncs with sleep focus in my phone.

App is buggy. Crashes every morning when I stop it.

Love the app. Excellent shows me when my BiPAP mask slips. Not sure how accurate this is when it’s close to the BiPAP machine.

On the first night it didn’t work. I read the reviews again and realized I couldn’t use another music or meditation app at the same time. So I used an iPad for that, then autosnore worked great. Used ChatGPT for ideas to reduce snoring and it’s working. Nothing like good data to help solve problems. And autosnore gives great data. And I like that it works with AutoSleep too!
