And this is a great idea for this app guys

Great app some questionable content is it true that the first uploaded clip was the infamous staged superbowl fashion malfunction?

It is really frustrating to me that I pay a monthly fee to YouTube so the commercials are not shown but it seems a lot of the content creators have commercials inside their programs. Can’t you stop them from doing this?

I think there’s a bug in the app where I can only scroll through videos if I am in the black space between videos. I cannot scroll if I am touching a thumbnail.

Getting spammed with religious copy paste comments, reports not being taken + channels I don’t want to see end up popping up anyway despite available options being used.

I often can find my way out/around. No back or home buttons. Come on, make this better.

Ads suck. Every time I think you guys would just be content with the ads you force people to watch when they don’t pay you through that entertainment extortion you guys do, you add new ways to annoy people like leaving the tab on an ad we can’t wait to hit the skip on so we have to push ANOTHER notification for something we don’t want on the bottom left corner of the screen. Is it so bad for you guys financially that you HAVE to come up with new ways to piss people off to the point that they pay you just so you’ll let them enjoy what they downloaded your app for? Come on, man. Think about how to attract people more than how to get money from them.

The shorts feature is extremely addictive. I recommend avoiding if you have trouble with addiction, excessive screen time, or self control. The app would be better for my mental health if I could permanently turn off shorts, which you cannot.

The algorithm keeps showing me all of these videos in Hebrew and it’s soooooooooo annoying

Raising prices with declining service. Even with premium Im given ads for shorts and games I don’t care for. Canceling my subscription until they fix this.

I go to one section like playlist and can’t go to my likes and to search. I think soon it will be on my cell phone too.

The site that’s 60% ads marketing things that are against YouTube’s own terms of service, plus 20% ads shoving the idea of getting YouTube premium. Then 7% AI Slop that YouTube shoves in your face and finally 3% content made by YouTube’s which is buried by 4 ads in the beginning of the video followed by 2 ads 2 minutes into the video followed by 3 ads at the mid of the video and at the guess what 4 more ads at the end and all of them unskippable. I willing to bet money that next year YouTube is going to make it so you can’t click onto another video until you watch the ads fully. Now time to give this review that apple will delete instantly because actual criticism doesn’t exist on the App Store. And I wish I could give this app -5 stars for how bad it is.

I use YouTube almost everyday but this most recent update actually piss me off, enough to make me want to do a review for the first time ever. Dismissing and ad by pressing skip is fine. But the fact that I have to dismiss an add AGAIN by pressing on the three dots then clicking dismiss ad (TWO WHOLE CLICKS) is giving us the YouTubers a terrible User Experience.

Long time YouTube user, With every update or major (even some minor) changes, whether it’s the UI or mechanics being removed and added, this app gets worse. They know that there’s no perfect alternative and are capitalizing on the user base they’ve built up to exploit people left and right. You cannot go a single video without several Ads. Their solution? Make a subscription service and charge 16 dollars a month so you can watch videos without being bombarded with ads! YouTube is another company exploiting their loyal audience and squeezing every cent they can out of us. Use any different alternative, Protube, Brave, just boycott this app before they decide to remove everything else that made Youtube what it once was.

The ads go on forever

They just raised the price, who are they paying? I’m sick of everything going up and getting worse..AI takes over your feed. I’ve never been closer to canceling. Everything only gets worse. I pay for convenience. When the price is no longer worth the convenience I have no issue using an Adblock on a browser. Good Luck.

The past month, the ads have gotten egregious to the point that even after you skip them, they show up as a banner and you have to click the three dots to remove them.
