I keep saying to show me less shorts, and a week later shorts are at the top of my feed again. Stop. I like YouTube because it is LONG FORM in comparison to other video social media. And that’s why I use it.

I used to go to YouTube to watch videos. Now I go to YouTube to watch ads… with occasional video breaks. Seriously—how is it that I get hit with an ad before the video even starts, only to be interrupted again 45 seconds in? And just when you think you’re safe, now there are ads *on the screen during the video itself*. It’s like they looked at every possible second of my attention span and thought, “Yeah, we can monetize that too.” What’s especially impressive (in the worst way) is the double dip: YouTube happily takes money from advertisers to flood the platform with ads, while simultaneously nudging users to pay for a “premium” ad-free experience. So the solution to the problem they created… is to pay them more money? Bold strategy. At this point, watching a single video feels like sitting through a commercial marathon with brief moments of actual content sprinkled in. Absolutely egregious.

The app sucks. It gets worse every year. No i dont want to buy your lame premium. Ever. Dont you make enough money? You guys suck and i know the comments mean nothing to you. Only profit matters.

I think you YouTube is a five stars because YouTube you could search up whatever you want to watch of your taste of music videos or whatever you can even watch movies if you don’t have the app you can also watch some favorite Youtubers if you want and you can make your own videos just by the sign of Google that is why I love you written by Rowan Lajeunesse or you could check out my YouTube is ECLIPSETHETHERIAN🦊🐾

Horrible app. Extremely glitchy. Bad UI. ADS ADS ADS ADS. SOOOO MANY TERRIBLE ADS. THE ADS ARE SO UNBEARABLE. GARBAGE AND I HATE THE APP! Well done Google!

I’m a visual learner and can’t even count how many times YouTube helped me learn new things just by watching. What a wonderful resource for every individual.

I’m sick of this. I was cool with ads before, but then they introduced double ads and unskipable ads. Already a stupid move. But now they’re forcing these outrageous pop up ads in the middle of videos completely blocking my view. It is unacceptable, and after over 10 years of using the app I’m just tired of it all. The pop ups wouldn’t even be that egregious if they weren’t so large and intrusive, and most importantly if they had a dismiss button.

I’ve used YouTube almost daily since 2010 or so and can very confidently say: This app gets worse every single update. Latest BS is now adds displayed over the video you’re watching that force you to click on the screen and clear them away. (They will not go away, you genuinely have to click “dismiss add”) This happens directly after you were just forced to watch a 30 second unskippable add during a video! Don’t forget how YT somehow completely ruined their comment section. Not sure how you can even mess up something that simple. If Rumble wasn’t so clunky I would never use YouTube again!

i used to love youtube but it has become another liberal owned media corp that leans LEFT and will censor the voices of opposition. i'm here for the music but even livestreams are interrupted by ads.

Too many ads and premium is too expensive to justify paying for

I love YouTube. I love that common people can start their own channel and talk about whatever they’re good at and make a little money and share. To me that is absolutely amazingly beautiful. However, it is well known that on YouTube many channels just disappear for a while. It is understood that YouTube is participating in censorship of the American people or all people, depending on the topic. That’s why many many people have left YouTube to go to other apps where there’s not as much censorship. So the word is getting out. People are sharing with or without YouTube. So it would be great if you tube could just get on the freedom train and allow the people to speak their mind, or share what they know freely and without censorship. Most people have the intelligence to pick and choose what they want to listen to or learn. Especially those of us with high IQs. Being born in the 50s, I was told this was a free country. I questioned that at seven years old. I’m still questioning it now it’s 70.
