Knots 3D

I use this app on the reg. Rope skills are perishable and this app is a must have resource for referencing knots. I would like the developer to fix the problem where my favorites routinely just disappear. Probably after an update to the app or iOS but it’s frustrating and unnecessary. I paid for the app, so let me store that data in iCloud.

I’ve had this app for years and it’s such a great reference. Such care went in to including the history, alternative names, and details for each knot. The 3d animations and organization is also outstanding.

This is the only knot app I use. It is excellent!!!

Worth the money, you can speed up and slow down the animation and it has what the knot is good at

This is my favorite, knot tying app. It is easy to use, detailed, and accurate. You can use it at your own pace and get great results. It can be used by adults and children alike. This is one of the better usable apps on the market. I’m a satisfied customer.

Great App to learn how to tie knots.

Many different knots. 3d animation of knots and adjustable tie speed is great.

Takes me to back to the Boy Scouts, Loved learning new knots Great graphics. More knots then I’ll ever need, still love them all.

As a Scout leader, I find this app SUPER-HELPFUL, being able to show someone, (including myself), step-by-step, how to do some really difficult knots, as well as, the easy ones. Sometimes one may not remember, how to do a specific knot tied before, & this app gives you an easy, “oh yeah, now I recall” quick reminder, which is really handy. It’s fun to watch the “lightbulb” go off, so-to-speak, in someone else’s face, as they “get it,” when this app is able to show, (most of the time), with great ease, how to tie a knot, step-by-step. Being able to slow down, or speed up, the steps, as well as being able to turn the view around, to an opposite viewpoint. It’s great! I HIGHLY recommend this app. It is the absolute BEST, at showing how to tie knots. In fact, today, I am telling all of my fellow leaders in my troop to download this app, as we are responsible for teaching some knots to some fellow scouters, and scouts, at an upcoming camp-o-ree. Thumbs up, 5 stars. Kudos to the app developer(s) on such a well-done app!

Most demos use a natural right handed person. As a natural lefty I have to study knots in an opposite direction to what “fits” my brain. When I do configure my brain to proper knots, - if they are “left’ also told they are incorrect.
