Advertised free trial but charged immediately. Apple denied refund and developer cannot refund. No resolution path.

Waste of time downloading and did not even record my whole first and last ride on it… Account deleted, NEVER AGAIN!!

I like how it keeps track of the average pace, and gives me suggestions to better.

I had signed up for a free trial, but the free trial never unlocked. Then I got charged for the year on that same day. But the subscription was never unlocked and kept asking me to sign up for a free trial. After trying multiple times to get it to work, including uninstalling and trying to restore purchases it wouldn’t work. I reached out to Strava support and they never got back to me. I had to get a refund from apple.

I get it. I can upgrade to get “So much more,” but I’ve never had an app push the subscription version so hard before. You’re a business who needs to make money that’s fine but please leave me alone. I should be able to live my free life in peace, especially now that basically every single aspect of the data analysis lives behind the paywall. I actually used to pay for the subscription version but downgraded when I wasn’t training, and now I just want to use it as a record of when I’ve worked out. Please consider adding functionality that allows users like me to stop being battered by upgrade pings, you already took all the features I used and put them behind the wall - I know there’s more to Strava than what I’m getting and it’s honestly pushing me towards other apps instead.

Used to be a BIG Strava user over the last few years and even a Premium user at one point. Recently, I got a Garmin and have been using Garmin Connect more, but I still log into Strava to update/sync my activities. In the last year, I’ve noticed the app has gotten considerably slower and buggier. For example, when changing activity visibility, the app says my action failed. But when I open the activity, its visibility was successfully updated. I have a hunch a lot of the slowness is because Strava forces its AI features down my throat. The popup that suggests Strava Premium is really slow and takes a few seconds to close out of. No, I don’t want an AI-suggested workout. I want a faster, smoother UX. Is there another app I would rather use? Unfortunately not, because a lot of my friends use Strava, but I’ve been having second thoughts lately.

This app could be great, but it doesn’t function as it should, which renders it to be useless. The GPS technology needs to be improved. It loses signal and instead of trying to regain signal, or make up for the loss through predictive analysis, it gives up completely, leaving you with statistics that aren’t correct. The sole purpose of this app is to track progress through GPS. Remember the true purpose of the app before trying to add on all these extras.

this has happened multiple times in the last few years, on runs and bikes where strava prematurely pauses my ride and it’s not till i get home, i see half my ride was not logged. i don’t know if this is an issue in autopause or a bug or a UX issue, but if others experience this problem it should be fixed!

Recent update keeps logging me out of EVERY service WHILE using it then sending me bad codes when I attempt to log back in. Literally unusable.

Some time in the last 4 days, they cut off pretty much all the remaining features unless you pay $12 a month. I ran this morning. No heart rate. No splits. No elevation. Not a single graph. Don’t waste your time.

ANYTHING I attempted to do on this app came with a pop telling me to premium free for 1 month. I was just looking for an app to assist in making routes, not an app that had a pop up begging for money at any button press. I have no idea who this app has a 4.8 rating.

I’ve never had a ride pause so many times after pulling out my phone once I’ve started recording. I don’t know if it’s because the buttons are at the bottom or what, but recently rides have been paused without knowing it. And it’s other people I ride with having this issue too. It’s on the phone for what it’s worth

This claims you can sink data to it but it never worked. THEN you cant cancel you $80 subscription on the app. The make it difficult so you have to go on the web browser to cancel KNOWING those whod use these kind of apps are mostly on the go.

Love the app but wish you would bring back the weekly totals at the top of the homepage!

Be prepared to wait several weeks for a response for your trouble ticket

I feel $10 a month is too expensive. The app also outs me for being poor by constantly asking me to connect a fitness tracking device that I do jot have. Why so they can make even more money off of me by selling my data?

So yeah

That’s a big 1 star for me, I can’t stand when companies do that.
