SkyView®

Was charged for this app I never wanted and being refused a refund which is insane .

SkyView has been my night companion for many years. In addition to helping identify celestial objects, it’s also helped me to validate archeoastronomy sites throughout Arizona. Set the calendar, line it up with the rock art, mark the solstice and equinox sunrises and sunsets. With two toddler grand children, SkyView has proved another purpose. Our backyard hammock is now a spaceship. The kids live traveling to the planets and stars with SkyView navigating the way.

I love the app but the calibration is not always exact.

I am very excited, looking at the reality of what is now considered planet in the sky. I must admit the fact that I am very new to this app and don’t actually know how to navigate it yet. I am still wondering if we can actually photograph those planets and other objects that are visible in the sky by this app? Thanks to the scientific world that proved to us that our home planet is also in space as the other planets do. I hope to learn more about this app and its many functions in time to come, great job. I love it.

As a shelter manager for Red Cross... nights can be very lonely and boring, especially for children who are displaced... so I've been using SkyView to entertain children and adults alike at night time by safely inviting people to go outside and experience the application with the Sky... thank you for all you do!!!

This app is perfect for people who like to stargaze. I’m no expert in celestial bodies, but with this app I’m learning quite a bit. I love that you can toggle the intensity of the star overlays.

I’ve been using SkyView Lite ever since I first found out about SkyView. Every time I open the SkyView Lite I would see this upgrade SkyView thing. I also wanted to be able to find all the planets, but SkyView Lite could not eventually I had some money and spent some on buying SkyView premium. I’m very happy with SkyView premium. It allows me to find satellites as well as bodies for spaceships. I also like using it to track different face objects.

The app just stopped working. It won’t even launch anymore.

I love SkyView. I say, “Hey Siri, open SkyView,” and boom I’ve got every constellation and planet on my phone with fun facts and options for trajectory. Thanks for a great and affordable app!

This is such a wonderful app for learning astronomy.

I have had this app for a few years, stopped using it for awhile, heard about the planets about to line up, decided to put it to use. Works very well.

Very good app despite costing cash.

I tried both auto and manual calibration, neither of which was effective. But either way, it couldn’t find the moon, even when I had the camera view enabled and was pointing right at it. This used to be a more reliable app.

I have literally owned this app for years now, and still regularly use it & enjoy the experience every time. I also love sharing this app with others & they are always amazed & I often have to fight for my phone back! Like I said-I purchased this app years ago, but love it enough to be writing this “glowing” review now. I really like it & think you will too!
