It has never asked. E to verify my identity before. This is frustrating. Now I have to wait until the next morning to get my reservation.
I was a host and was selling my property, couldn’t get a hold of anyone but the AI told me to tell my guests I was selling and to cancel the bookings and my account got banned because of told them what the AI told me to say.
I hate how they changed the app to not show recommended homes, special homes, places around world, or ability to truly search for mansions, castles, etc. it made it easier planning vacations based off our needs. I even used to book trips by their recommendations like Aruba etc and now it’s only if you think of it not something that comes up as recommendations. It kinda made it fun when I used to login and I booked trips based off of what they recommended and saved cool homes they showed. Now def limited by the app only giving you search bar and if I think of it verses recommendations limiting my use of the app and going through other sites.

We got denied Becuase a host double booked we had to call support to get our money back, we go to book a second place after receiving credits and they also denied. So now are refund is in limbo and nothing support can do but tell us the same sentence over and over. There needs to be am update to you process why would I have to charge my card before ever being approved it makes 0 sense for those reason now I'm out 1200$ before my trip that won't be back tell after my trip.

This app seems to be designed to thwart attempts to solve problems as a guest. Long story short, twice this year I’ve dealt with dishonest hosts hiding important details about my stay (example: I wasn’t given both keys to enter the apartment that I’m staying in). I’m convinced that the support on this app is performed by bots, even when you request a human agent. When I’ve had a problem and reached out to support, the support doesn’t seem to understand and always communicates in a banal, circular way. The communication style used makes me think that the entire chat support team on the app is AI. Also, responses take hours and don’t address the issue.
They resolved my issue fairly
Every time you book with Airbnb, you risk your life. They do not vet their hosts and thousands of people are assaulted, or worse, every year at Airbnb properties. Why don’t you hear about it? Because they have a team of lawyers who pay victims to be quiet. This is a deeply immoral and dangerous organization. Avoid, for your own safety.
A guest had police called on them for fighting and Airbnb cancelled their reservation and Airbnb still allowed them to leave a review. Hosts be advised Airbnb will not help you in any way
They have very rude customers service will put you on silence won’t even listening to your concerns or issues you have
Hello, I am a US citizen who recently went to Turkey and I booked this place called “ SUNNY Damlatas - Cleopatra beach” Hosted by Oezdal . After I stayed there for a week, they propose me with a deal to stay there for 22 night extra which I was looking to stay somewhere else, they dragged me into a deal by force I definitely feel unsafe and confused. They charged me $222.84 for 7 nights and they told me to pay and other $589.01 for 22 nights more And I Did. One week pass passed and our second week my wife and I start having allergic reactions and skin issues due to unclean pillows, bedsheets, and couches. Because of how unsafe we felt, we decide to leave the Airbnb, although the host was very mad and she came with her husband to fight us, but we simply say OK to everything they said, and we left the place. As soon as we leave, I contact the Help center on Airbnb to ask for help and refund portion of our money that we made, and we didn’t stay there for that long. This is clear that this is not a safe for future guest. They force you to make a deal with them outside of the Airbnb and make the payment for extra service so that the Airbnb doesn’t charge them a commission. Although it’s been a week since we left that place and I contacted Airbnb health center multiple time and talk to multiple people, but I haven’t still solve my issue and no one taking any action about this place. I am very dissatisfied with Airbnb and a customer service representative. I am writing this review to bring this matter to the attention of the Airbnb CEO to help us. This issue caused My Wife and I significant emotional damage, halt issue and we know that our right are has been violated. We simply trust Airbnb for safety and liability, but looks like we were mistaken. I am waiting for update from the Airbnb otherwise I will take this issue forward and open a lawsuit against Airbnb for having such a hostess to risk people’s life and health issues. I have all the evidence in documentation regarding to our skin cost issue from the doctor, a receipt of payment and all the text messages that the host sent me. Thank you for your attention looking forward to get an update.
Waste of time searching for pet friendly places with a fence
I booked a stay and it was absolutely horrendous. I complain to customer service and they had no desire to help resolve the issues only to satisfy the hosts and listen to what they say. All of the issues were never resolved and couldn’t be resolved during the time we were there and airbnb would rather roll over into a grave than try to reimburse you or accommodate you for bad bookings. They allow the deletion of bad reviews in order to make the hosts listings look appealing but the reviews are often scripted

My grandmother had a heart attack the day of my trip and I had to cancel. Host was understanding but Airbnb was not… I was refunded and then Airbnb took the money back. I will never use the again and will make sure to let everyone know how terrible the are.
Use Booking.com instead.
We found Rusty Rock to be very comfortable, quite roomy, and clean. The outside areas are lovely, quickly accessible, and spacious. Our small group of “ole” college gals from the “60’s totally enjoyed it here!
