While it asked for the CSV each time it was used, despite having Face ID it was a time saver at checkout. Another bug that I came across in this version is when you select a prescription in the items that were invoice, it was off by a line.
Are yall seriously going to lock me out of my account because YOU don’t know my birth date. Absolutely stupid. I only have one D.O.B. that I am aware of- but yeah go ahead and lock me out. Absolutely ridiculous- not only did you log me out- but now you won’t accept my credentials. I guess I’m unsure of whose birth date you want if not mine.
I like the functionality that this app provides to be able to reach a pharmacy staff member instead of having to call and never get through, the messaging app allows you to express your needs to get your question across and to have a pharmacy technician call you back to resolve any issues or to follow up. This makes my job to call them less taxing because I have a hard time initially getting across what i need because I have a communication impairment that makes it harder for me to be understood because I am not direct or short when it comes to having a discussion or chat.

Worst app EVER
Making it extremely difficult to get a basic refill - i added my payment method on here - it says something about a barcode to use …what barcode?
This app has a pretty negative user experience. CVS is one of the worst vertical monopolies in the industry and this App shows exactly why that’s a bad thing. It’s disorganized, and it’s trying to sell you anything except what matters and was once the core of their mission. Boo CVS.
Who’s writing these reviews? Click most features on this app do nothing. edit profile, add payment option I get a blank screen and “my store” anything food related is unavailable. Only good feature is filling prescription

I’m very impressed with your online coupons and your pharmacies new implementation of the screens where you can type in your name, date of birth, etc. Everything’s moving so much quicker. The only criticism I have, is not your fault. There are so many people shoplifting. I see them even getting things that are locked up and then walking out with them very casually. When will this change? I know that it’s not up to you but the government. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Had to ask an associate how to access the CVS card in the app.
There is no 1-800 customer service number to call on the app. If there is - they certainly make it impossible to find. Also tried to find a copy of my member id & it’s not easy.
The app is not intuitive and for the past 3 years, I have been forced to enter my password or change it since who really remembers passwords anymore. Fortunately, I have an iPhone 17 and I use my face to open the app. However, I don’t know why I must constantly re-enter my RX information info for refills. It is frustrating and frankly annoying. I would prefer to speak directly with the App Developer and Product Manager for the app. Additionally, your entire system at CVS defaults to the higher cost when a customer has 2 Insurance companies for RX coverage. While was not working, I used my Humana Medicare Advantage account and RX card. Now that I am working and have employer coverage, your system defaults to Humana even though your system has my Optum UNH plan and group information on file. The employer coverage has lower cost for my medication. Despite having BOTH plans on file, your system has been overcharging me for the past year by defaulting to the Humana coverage this might be a complaint since it involves pecuniary liability. Also, the app moves when typing any message text and I am unable to review.
This app has encouraged me to take my medicine due to the alarms that I have set, I can’t forget. I also love that I can request refills and day supply. I love that my doctors are listed and it’s just one click away when I need to submit a refill request.

Nothing works. I can’t view prescriptions. I can’t refill. Can’t put a card on file. Can’t shop for anything. Not one single button, menu, feature or function works on my iPhone 17 or my iPad 6th Gen. I have no option but to go in the pharmacy every time. What do think they say every time, “you know you can do this on the app”. Sometimes the person at the counter will say, “you can do this online using our portal”. Then I have to explain that the portal just tells me to download the app. Just 3 words….Bad Customer Experience.
When I clicked on the app, it immediately brought me to the shopping option (ok), but after choosing pharmacy, I now have to search through myriad articles, questions, and videos. All I want is to refill my prescriptions. CVS Minute Clinic doesn’t even accept my insurance. I should be able to skip this part. Every update throws another hurdle in my way. Terrible app.
