Every aspect of this app, including the 2-3 features it’s actually meant to do, feel so baked into financial philosophies that it becomes painful to navigate. Ads are barely disclosed with the tiniest little “ad” caption in the bottom right corner, extra posts are automatically shoved into your home feed automatically, the amount of advertisements feels like it’s quadrupled, and the type of engagement that’s recommended feels more like a mobile game than a form of social media. I dislike the constant push to merge everything with my Facebook account, i dislike the growing exploitative feel of this app, and i dislike how every update makes it less user-friendly. I have had this app in some form or another for over 10 years now, and it’s become a cesspool of poor influences.

The number of slurs and racist/ethnocentric comments I’ve seen, reported, appealed, and then been told still don’t go against their community standards (despite the fact that they DO) is absurd.

I am completely hooked on using Instagram to share my creative life and I really think it is the best place for any artist who wants to get their work out there. From the second I start planning my grid it feels like I am building my own little digital gallery where I get to tell my story exactly the way I want to. It has become a daily obsession for me to talk with the community here and show everyone how my style is changing. The way I can put my portfolio together feels like a masterclass in visual storytelling and I am always energized by the fact that I can share my skills with people all over the world with just one post. Being a dedicated creator I love that this space lets me speak from the heart and use the real language of my art journey to reach other people. I am obsessed with finding that balance between a professional look and a raw energy that makes my followers feel like they are right there in the studio with me. It is so rewarding to keep up a page that looks this intentional and high quality because it really reflects the long hours I put into my work. I care so much about how my colors and textures look on a phone screen and it honestly pushes me to be more ambitious every time I hit upload. I find myself checking the app constantly because it gives me a way to share something real and beautiful in a world that usually feels pretty superficial. For me posting my art is not just about likes or images it is a huge part of my personal growth and it keeps me motivated to keep getting better. I truly believe that having this direct line to the world is a gift that keeps me focused on my goals as an artist. It is the best way I have found to show who I am and I am so grateful for the eyes it puts on my work. Every time I look at my feed I remember exactly why I fell in love with making art and why I feel so driven to share it with everyone. You can see my dedication in every single brushstroke I post and the things I talk about in my captions let me have real conversations with people across the globe. I am officially addicted to documenting my aesthetic and I love telling my fellow artists to use this platform to focus on talent and integrity. Recently Instagram won’t let me tag or mention comedian Matt Rife. Come on that’s ridiculous. I love the app but it needs to do more better.

The update features aren’t guarenteed for your account, some get them and some don’t so your bound to always be left out or stuck on a older version even though your app is fully updated

Instagram has suspended the last 8 accounts I have made for no reason I have tried over and over again to make an account and it has suspended me right after I made the account every single time they have system and A.I problems and can’t control their it nor stop it

En general, la aplicación funciona correctamente, pero no tengo disponible el botón de repost. Lo extraño es que en otra cuenta que tengo sí apareció esta función. Además, anteriormente también tenía acceso a otras funciones nuevas como las tomas, pero después de una actualización dejaron de aparecer. Según tengo entendido, estas opciones deberían estar visibles en la parte inferior derecha, pero en mi caso no están disponibles en ninguna de mis cuentas actualmente. Si pudieran ayudarme a revisar ese problema o indicarme que puedo hacer, se los agradecería muchísimo.💕

I keep getting banned for 0 reason

I did not see any ads before. Recent update bombarded me with annoying ads. Almost after each post I see at lease one ad. There should be an option not to see any ads. 🤬

i love it but it’s js the people that are so rude in peoples comments for no reason. i feel like they shld get their acc suspended or banned yk? but overall i love posting highlights and watching reels.
