I like to use Venmo to send money back and forth to people for small things; however, I’m gettin SICK AND TIRED of all of the “sign up for a credit card” emails and in app pop ups!! There seems to be no way to make this stop. If I wanted a credit card through Venmo I’d get one, but I’ve ignored the last 50+ emails and pops ups with No Way to select “Not Interested”. Please fix this or I will be uninstalling and using a different service. It’s OVERKILL.
Don’t even try downloading Venmo, it’s just as bad as PayPal. After setting this trash up I realized this is not for me. Not really that simple to use. Try canceling this and you’ll spend a week just trying to do so especially with a business account.
I’ve been trying to contact customer service either get sent to another person or no one answers, so hard to figure problem out with you guys frustrating

If you’re on hard times and don’t have a checking or a way to cash your checks, I would suggest phoning a friend. It has literally taken me 5hrs to cash my checks & they charge 15 effin dollars every single time! I pay this weekly after fighting this effin app for hours!!! I got off work at 8 PM and I am hungry but is now 1 AM in the morning and I finally cashed my check! Other than that this app is great.
Can’t transfer money to my Venmo account from my PayPal account.
Because I’m a teen and I can see how much I get for baby sitting 😃
Not as slick or well done as Apple did with Apple Cash, but then again PayPal is not Apple.
Wouldn’t let me add my bank card
My friends nor I can use the Instant Transfer option today. This app has more and more problems. It’s been going downhill for years and customer service is nearly extinct. CashApp is where we have taken our business but we reached our weekly limit so I thought I would use this as a backup so we’ll have to use PayPal from here on out as a backup.
Issues updating about section in business profile. It’s been 5 days since I have submitted a ticket to fix the issue. Laziness or ignorance?
Repeated tried to pay someone. 2 cards and 1 bank account linked “Sorry, you Venmo credit can’t cover the full amount” Where the fsck did I say use Venmo credit. I kept selecting different cards and bank account. Finally went through. But I mean why so much angst?!
How easy to toggle a transaction into a purchase, even if there is no business profile, or good or service identified. Don't fat finger your payment or a protection fee may be deducted from your friend's or family member account. Someone did this recently, and doesn't recall being asked to confirm. Double check before sending.
I mean it’s alright
It is a really good money app
App might be okay, but account setup is a major chore, and it never did accept my bank account or debit card payment method. Since nothing was working I attempted to close my account. This resulted in an error and a big “contact us” button. Clicking that button just goes to a help page and worthless AI chat bot with no way of reaching a human. I have since deleted the app.
Hard to use and no one who can give quick answers
I made an account in November of last year and when I tried to connect my Venmo account to my debit card it froze my account. Now I’ve been unable to reactive my account since then and I can’t even delete the account either because it’s frozen. And the customer service website and hotline isn’t helpful at all. This has been a horrible experience.
I am trying to purchase a few items and I just set up the account and it says it’s frozen so I can’t do anything with it now
