App features and website seem frequently broken

Progressive is the worst insurance company—they are licensed bandits. I took out insurance for my vehicle with them; after I had already secured my policy for a six-month term with a monthly payment of $544, I set up automatic payments linked to my bank account, and everything went smoothly—until the third month. At that point, without my consent or authorization, they accessed my account and took $2,361. They had supposedly—and unilaterally—raised my insurance premium to $1,448.13; it was a completely arbitrary increase. When I realized what had happened, I tried to contact them, but I only encountered people who seemed like robots, mindlessly repeating nonsense, and no one would take personal responsibility or address me directly. The bottom line is that I have never seen insurance coverage cost that much; nobody explains anything to you. That is why I advise anyone looking to purchase insurance: do not make the mistake of buying from Progressive. They offer you a very attractive price just to reel you in, and then, after two months—while you are faithfully paying your premiums—they hit you with a massive rate hike. They forced me to cancel my policy because, according to them, I was obligated to pay whatever amount they dictated. Listen up, folks: these people are bandits. This is just my personal experience, but I know several other people who have gone through the exact same thing with them.

The fact I have to call to just turn off automatic payments tells you all you have to know about this scum company.

I always joke about Auntie Flo being only a call away, and that’s exactly how the Progressive Insurance and app makes me feel. Protection in an app that covers you like a glove. It’s amazing!

This app is so easy to use. I really enjoy using it. I even look forward to logging in and paying my bill. I wish all insurance companies were as simple and easy to navigate as this app. I have turned down slightly cheaper rates strictly because I like using this app I like being able to pay my bill early if I need to.

The snap shot is a good idea but I should not have to get on this app every week to put that I was the passenger. I always forget and then it’s too late to fix it. I’m busy and don’t have the time for this.

The worst insurance ever! After this six months is up, I will absolutely switch!! Can’t stand yall honestly.

Why can’t I select the date I want to make the payment? It sucks you take my payment now when it’s not due for 3 weeks. Let me schedule when the payment needs to be made!

Progressive app beats other car insurance apps.

Easy user interface. Great loyalty rewards! I was new to the insurance world. Progressive helped me save money and introduced to the insurance world. They have several deductions aside from loyalty rewards, like the automatic payment set up. Also they allow you to pay ahead of time and avoid installment fees and save even more.
