I’ve been using the app for at least a couple of years now and now with the update omg I love it the pictures are so much more easier to upload and come out so much clearer
I absolutely love StyleBook and have been using it since at LEAST 2014. I love that it's not a forgotten about app even after all of these years. The updates are great and it's changed my relationship with my closet for the BETTER. ONE THING! PLEASE bring back the pinch (two fingers) to manually resize. This feature was removed with the update and now I have to double click, tap "manually resize", drag the slider, hit the back button, then do it all over again for every single piece and repeat if I get it wrong when I'm lining up my clothing in the outfits. Pleeeaaasseee please bring back the pinch to adjust sizes without having to do all those extra steps. Thank you!!
I’ve been using Stylebook since 2019 and it has helped me out immensely. I use it almost every day to choose what I’m going to wear. The packing list feature has helped me not overpack for trips. It takes a little investment of time on the front end to get your initial wardrobe loaded but after that it’s so simple to keep it updated. The support staff is also very friendly and helpful. They do a good job maintaining the app.
I love this app! It’s such a help tracking your clothes, outfits, packing lists and wish lists. It’s really fun too! Sometimes I put together dream outfits just to play “stylist”. Highly recommend!
This is my favorite app! I take a picture of my clothes, edit them, label them in different folders, and make outfits with what I have! I also love the “shuffle” tab, it selects your clothings based off of color, style, and what I feel like wearing that day! It also has a calendar for people like me who plan their outfits ahead of time! Give it a chance and you’ll love it too!
I love this app! It helps me keep my closet organized. I can easily "shop my closet" and spend less on clothes.
It’s easy and fun to use. I love the ability to create looks and add them to a packing list for travel. I’d like to see a way to take all the clothes I have associated to a trip and shuffle them to create looks that I maybe hadn’t thought of. If there is a way to do that, I still haven’t found it.
I can’t say enough good things about this App!! Helps me stay organized and works great. Worth every penny and more!! Get it today! ❤️
I’ve been using Stylebook for many years and have a few things I’d like to see to make it more flexible. 1. The ability to take photos in square mode for natural background so photos fit the square on the item’s main page. 2. I prefer to keep the natural background on my jewelry photos. I currently have to go outside of the app, take the photo, crop it and add text to it there, then go back in to Stylebook to add the photo from the photo app. This would be so much easier if it could all be done to the natural background photos within Stylebook. 3. The ability to select a preference on which background to use. I’d like to be able to select natural background as my default for jewelry. 4. If I leave the app but don’t close it out, it doesn’t remember where I’m at. I have to go back in to Closet, scroll through the folders and scroll again to get back to the item I was looking at. Especially annoying since I’m having to go in and out to the camera and photo apps to capture the photo I want in the first place. 5. It would be nice if there could be a “metal” category just like there is a fabric category. I understand that there is a metallic in the colors, but that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the material of the item itself for jewelry or shoes so that I could populate a separate list for 10k, 925 silver, plastic, costume jewelry, etc. 6. A “favorite” button. 7. The ability to add captions that show under the photo in list mode. Like I said, I’ve been using it for a very long time, over a decade so I obviously love the app, but it could be improved on.
Every time i add a link to clip a product from a website the app crashes. This was my favorite feature for adding in new clothes since the image quality was typically better and now I can’t use it
Loving this app! The interface is super easy to use, and I especially love the background removal feature—it makes everything look so clean. I really appreciate being able to add multiple outfits for the same day, which is perfect for vacations when you often have daytime and evening looks. I’m still in the process of uploading my closet, but so far this app has been absolutely great!
I’ve lost track of how many years I’ve used this app and it is crucial to my clothing management. I am not diligent enough to use all the cost-per-wear tools (though I know I would benefit from them) but simply having my closet with me on the go is enormously helpful. It allows me to pack with ease, shop more strategically and dress more creatively. Be patient with their small team when it comes to updates—they are infrequent but they are ALWAYS worth it.
I’ve been using this app to organize my closet for years. It’s been straightforward and intuitive. The new update puzzled me because it addresses things that have always worked. One of which adding new images of clothing pieces. I like to thrift and those images usually involve a mannequin. Instead of erasing it, I crop as much of it out and what’s left unobtrusively remains in the picture. Post update, every time I add a new piece, the auto detect feature with erase a few spots in the picture. It’s made adding thrifted pieces a pain. Please let me know how to revert the update.
Syncing seemed like a great upgrade! But even though I first synced my main device, syncing duplicated items and added back items I had deleted. Now I have to go back through every category. Ugh! I DID NOT SYNC THE DEVICES SIMULTANEOUSLY. IT WAS AT LEAST A WEEK APART.
Please add option to merge packing lists and to move items from one packing list to another. Otherwise good app.
Update: I love the update to this app so much, thank you for hearing our requests and responding to them so well! I no longer use a third party app for background removal on photos because this one works so well. Not to mention, this one lets you change how the background removal has been done if you don't like it (something most others don't have). I recommend this app to friends and family even more now. I also love that I can backup to the cloud now :) All of the other closet organizing apps I found were either 1) free but lacking so many features they were useless or 2) insanely expensive and cost a monthly fee that continues forever! Ew! This app really hits that sweet spot where it's only a small fee that you pay one time and all of the features you could want are there! I also feel really good about supporting this app because I have seen in their tiktoks that a woman designed it as her passion project, I love knowing that I'm supporting someone's dream! Pros: -Packing feature is really cool, where you put in outfits and it tells you what items to pack based off of that. Really really useful, as well, to be able to look at what you packed in the app instead of digging through your suitcase! -so many stats about your closet, that pay dividends the longer you use the app. I never realized how much I preferred certain brands, etc. Before using this! -tags and categories are extremely customizable, which was a must for me. I really hated the free apps I tried that would not let me edit categories and tags in the ways that I wanted to, this way I can tag that I would wear a certain outfit to class and then later search for all outfits I would wear to class. So useful! Con: The only con I have is that the in-app photo editor to make it so that the background is not a part of your clothes is really hard to use. This is the only thing that free apps have over this one, but I love everything else about this app so much I can absolutely forgive it. I use one of the free apps (whering) to edit my photos since they have a better AI that recognizes what is background much more effectively, and then I put them into Stylebook, just to make things easier. I love this app so much, though, I really don't see this as a deal breaker! It's such a great price and so amazing in every other way. A note of advice: I know that others liked hanging their clothes, but honestly I preferred taking a photo of myself wearing them using a tripod in good lighting, then editing myself out. This made the clothes look a lot better and professional in the thumbnails, giving me a better idea of what it will look like on in an outfit.
I used to love this app, but they made an update which makes it impossible for me to edit the pictures. It only does an automatic edit and every time it’s not edited the way that I want and it crops out things out of the picture that I need. So now this app is useless to me. It used to be so easy and convenient and helpful now it’s impossible to even get a picture that I can use Into my closet. Please take off automatic picture crop… it’s horrible.
Heard about this app from a recent news article and thought it would be a great way to organize. Read through the details and nowhere does it describe this as a woman’s app. The company makes an app specifically for men, but this is not it. They should make that known in the product details. If I had known, I never would have purchased this. I have absolutely no use for it.
I use this app every day even when I don’t have to go out, I just log my home wear. This app helps me track how often I wear my closing items and it helps me spend less money on stuff that I don’t need.
My goal with this app is to help me utilize my wardrobe better. However if I accidentally duplicate a look it doesn’t catch it. One of the other apps I considered did but since that’s my only issue with it, I’ll still keep this one
