Spotify: Music and Podcasts

The one app I could not part with. So much information and dopamine in this app. Been here for 10 years will be here for a lifetime.

I’m not sure what the benefit of having a shuffle option is if it constantly just cycles back to the same songs over and over again on a playlist that has 2000+ songs on it. I literally have to hit play, realize I’ve heard that song for the nth day in a row, and then open the queue to scroll past the same set of songs forever to get to something I haven’t heard recently.

I love the platform for listening to my music but they really need to start adding more customization options for editing the Home Screen and/or making changes to your public profile. Had Spotify for many years and hardly any updates or changes have been made

They still subject you to ads during podcasts and restrict audiobooks, even if you pay for a premium membership. Absolutely trash decision on their part. User interface is not good. FYI I have been a Spotify premium member for almost 10 years.

you’re telling me this app gets worse every time I hear about it? cheating artists with ai ones, limiting the actual shuffle ability, increasing the charges of premium for literally no reason, ads every two songs AND you still have to use your computer to GET premium??? what is this 2000???? it’s not worth it, I’ve been using spotify since high school, and it’s way worse than what it used to be. don’t bother, the only good use is the playlist function and even that’s beyond broken.

Atrocious behaviors from a *music streaming app*. This shoving of video content down our throats is absurd. We are here to listen to music, not watch podcasts.

IM GETTING SO MANY ANNOYING ADS ABOUT SPOTIFY PREMIUM Like bro you don’t even have an ad in my country so lets just slap whatever ad we have I understand that having ads is necessary But when the ad is about spotify premium (thats the only ads i get) At that point its just inconvenience for no reason

Bring back the old Spotify that didn’t have adds or try to make me pay like $20 a month just the listen to the songs I want in the order i want. ts is ridiculous. Listing to music in the order you want without adds should not premium

Always reliable and can come here with only minimal advertising. Way better than Pandora.

I love Spotify and all the options it has but there are way too many ads since the end of 2024. I get that you want us to buy premium but I think it’s just tom foolery.

Spotify will constantly add ai features that no one wants or cares for and ruins their regularly used features. I do not want to listen to these random podcasts after my podcast finishes. I do not want all these ai generated suggested playlists or songs to play. I want a human curated playlist with songs that are new or different to what I already listen to. I recommend Apple Music since it actually works and isn’t shovelware ai bs that I can’t get rid of or control in anyway
