Indeed Job Search

I have been using this website for years; Indeed helps consumers prep, apply, and use the research tools to increase the likelihood of potential employees hire rate. The app is great for people starting out in the workforce.

I’m only getting recommendations and locations that my year near me. And jobs that have nothing to do with my skill set. There is an option to change this, making my job search harder. We need better filter options.

It’s all lies; no one contacts you.I think the positive reviews are just a deception.

The my jobs section never saves my updates. I move jobs to archive and then they pop right up as pending. I watch for emails but pretty much feel like the app is only good for applying. I never use it for tracking anything.

Haven’t got any emails back or received any offers from employers

The search function is completely useless since they added the AI feature now everything else is trash. Doesn’t show the jobs in the job section for the company, but you can literally put in the job title and it comes up but then sometimes you have to put it in different ways for anything to come up. Used to be a five star app. Now it’s a one star also each of the updates you guys do just makes it worse.

I’ve never in my life seen an app require a password, an email verification, and a phone number verification. This is ridiculous. I’m sorry but we have added security on our phones if we feel we need it. All so we can apply to $13-15 hr jobs. Indeed, you are a joke.

Looking for minimum wage part time jobs stop recommending licensed doctor positions, certified specialists ect

What’s the point in asking me what my minimum salary is if you aren’t able to show jobs within that pay range? It seems this is just a way to get the users personal information into the hands of scammers and con artists. Indeed is garbage

Riddled with fake listings. The search box doesn’t even open after their last update. Zero relevance in listings related to search. Listings that are outdated and anonymous. You’re better off using LinkedIn or ZipRecruiter for more accurate searches.

It’s good helping find jobs and create a good job list based on you but as far as putting in an application and getting a response quickly, I’ve put in a few and have not gotten anything back.

I gave all my information, told them where I live, told them what jobs I want and they sit here and try to give me jobs hours away not a single one near me, how is that supposed to help? it does not. Then the jobs that are actually in my area are no where near what I am even able to work. This app did indeed, not help me.

I’ve been using indeed for a number of years but lately, it’s been extremely dry when seeking specific shifts and companies. It also keeps giving me jobs I am not qualified for and continues to say the jobs posted are related to my searches but they are not…

Their business model requires people to apply for jobs. Don’t bother writing a review that discourages people to apply at that business regardless of creditable. It doesn’t make indeed money if people don’t apply. It’s a waste of your time

All it sends are commission sales person jobs for the most part. I am looking for contract work as marketing and developer not door to door sales. But this thing sends every sales job available. Smh

I’ve had good opportunities present themselves through using the indeed job search app.

There should be a community report button that will also show how many people reported these ghost jobs. They are fraudulent, a waste of time, and selfish, causing qualified people to doubt themselves. I’m starting to think they might be taking my information and selling it. Is this app a scam??? If not, please add a report button!!!!
