Más de 10 años y aún es el app donde gestiono los set-list, estudio y escribo los cifrados de covers y temas originales, la facilidad que ofrece para cambiar los tonos y compartir las listas la hacen indispensable para el músico de oficio que suele tocar con muchos formatos diferentes, los nuevos sonidos de drums están muy bien, lástima que se limiten solo al jazz, agradecería en el futuro una actualización del drums del pop al menos

Fantastic app, it’s the only one I use for finding music

This is a great music app at a great price. I had a support issue on a Saturday/holiday weekend and got a fast answer. This app was referred to me by a friend and now I recommend it, too. :-)

Any musician of any level, especially jazz musicians, will find this one of the most useful, important, and FUN apps you use. And its set of features is simply amazing. Imagine having access to a decent sounding rhythm section for well over a thousand tunes, supplied at no additional cost. And EACH tune can be played: 1) Any tempo 2) Any key 3) With a wide variety of chord, bass, and percussion instruments, and YOU adjust how they balance 4) Any number of repeats 5) Wide variety of musical styles As the song plays, the app will highlight the current chord being played. You can even input your own custom songs, and use all of the features above. Output the app’s sound to a speaker or amplifier, and you’re ready to play along with the rhythm section. This is a fantastic app for learning and practicing tunes. You can even use iRealPro to do a solo gig in public when you don’t have access to a live rhythm section. And you can create sets for easy flow from song to song. iRealPro does display a song’s chords as it plays, but you will need to provide sheet music so you can read the melody of the tunes. Use “real books” or PDFs for that. Easily obtainable. (I use iGigBook, another exceptional app.) Also, tech support is very responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. And updates to the app are regularly available, offering improvements and refinements. This is an app created and supported with an impressive amount of care! But starting without any musical intro is not very helpful

The real drums is a great upgrade for the jazz styles. Please add real drums for the Brazilian styles, recorded by a Brazilian drummer please. I can recommend some of the best if you need. I would gladly pay extra for it.

IReal Pro is become an indispensable practice tool. It is very easy to find and import songs that other people have published on the web. It is also incredibly easy to write your own tracks. There is lots of good info in their forums and their support is great. Worth every penny.

It is a great app for sure, practice tool. I suggest to allow to write some rhythm notation very necessary for intros, for example: sometimes you have to play songs you have never played right on the spot, the rhythmic notation will do the miracle. My last suggestion all my students practice with this software but there is room to improve, we need that ireal be compatible with realbooks, again; "a song request we haven't heard", we need to playthe melody. Guys due respect, this is the 21th century and probably the last one. We need you to search for better software sound and more possibilities for the working musicians. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I’ve had this app since the first year came out. I absolutely love it! So easy switch keys for singers, easy to make modifications to chords and add intros and codas. It has become the gold standard for everyone I know.

The new real drums on jazz styles are awesome, thanks so much! Biggest wish would be for medium and uptempo swing brushes. The brushes that were added sound terrific, and the open even 8th note groove is really nice. Hoping for more real drums on other styles in the future, as well as other instruments. I have used this app for charts for many years…my only small gripe would be the input delay when creating my charts. Thanks again!

This app does everything I need to practice jazz and many other genres. I use it with all my students and my original compositions as well. It’s less good with rock music. There are fewer rhythm tracks available. But there are excellent choices for Latin, Brazilian, and Blues.

IReal is a must have for the practicing musician. The ability to learn standards in all keys alone makes it essential for anyone who takes practicing seriously.

I’ve had it for a few years now and me and most of the people I play with also use it. It’s so versatile, you can change the key the speed the style, choose the chord position that works best for any given tune and so much more. There’s a great selection of songs and the support has been incredible. You can even correct the music by changing the chords. It’s a bargain. Get it, you won’t regret it.

This is basically an iPhone apps that was clumsily updated for iPad. If you’re planning on using this on your iPad and are planning on creating your own backing tracks for practice sessions, I would look elsewhere. It is rarely updated. If you download pre-made charts for backing tracks it works pretty well, but I need to make practice material and attempting to input chords and formatting is clumsy. The assistance from the forums is outdated, all the tutorial demonstrations are screen recordings from an old iPhone. If you are a musician and you pay for this and you are expecting forScore or Andante, this isn’t that.

IF you don’t care about lyrics. You can type them in but space is limited. However, it pushes you to learn notation which serious musicians should know. Been using constantly for eight years.

I signed up for iRealPro and had initial difficulty accessing the material. After emailing the company, I had a response and assistance within hours. Now I can enjoy the site!

I love this app because not only can I learn how to play jazz tunes and also help me with my exercises and piano skills… You all have a lot of the popular songs that I’ve been wanting to learn to play and I can also use it as an accompaniment Since it has all the instrumentation that can go with the piano… Thank you very much

I have been using IPad for at least 15 years to access the IReal Pro Music and Backing Tracks! What a gift to musicians and vocalists! Not only can you change the keys of a song and the musical styles but you can print the songs out for your musicians! Introduced to me by a smart vocal teacher I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! As the daughter of a well known symphony conductor and trumpet teacher I grew up with music and feel I know what I am talking about! When my first IPad broke I had to right away replace it so I could access IReal Pro. I can rehearse anytime and any place to prepare for a gig so I can save my money to pay musicians for a live gig!
