This has been a very useful app for years.
Buy this app, play with this app. Play better
It’s fun, engaging and a great help tool for learning to play my instruments.
Paid for this app at the suggestion of another musician. I wanted to use it for the drum loops. For rock or pop stuff, for many of the drum tracks, there is no variation at all…they are identical; just with a different name. I’ve not found this app useful or easily comprehensible.
This program is wonderful not only for jazz guitarists, but for singers as well, as well as other such solo instrumentalists. Although most jazz guitarists like moveable chords, and hardly know what a capo is, this app is far more versatile than its service to the jazz community would suggest, and is is a shame that the long standing clamor for a simple capo function has fallen only upon deaf ears always to date.
Great app for teaching improvisation. For a jazz version of happy birthday I use the first 8 bars of It’s Only A Paper Moon.
As I keep using, I keep growing.
Fully functional , charts can be difficult to read at a glance but still good. Multiple pages would be great .
The multiple rhythms are sure to carry you on a musical journey around the world; absolutely! 💯 A must have for all the retiree musicians done with gigs and playing in night clubs! 🤩
iReal Pro is my go to practice tool. I’ve been using it every day to practice jazz and technique, since I discovered it in 2011. 100% recommended.
I rate this program up there with the guitar tuner when it comes to practical value.
I use iReal Pro on 3 devices. It’s important to have them all in sync, as I use my iPad at rehearsal and on stage. The few times I’ve needed help, it’s always prompt and effective.
This new update with the real drums is a big improvement. People complain about the midi sounds but other apps that have the real samples can be bulky and hard to navigate. I won’t name names. I just love working with my students along with this app. Thanks so much!
The best amazing no words continues working hard for make happen notations good health am blessing all you thing people working 🙏🙏💯❤️😊🎼🎶🎵🥰
Excelente programa para Practicar
I’ve owned iReal Pro since it came out over fifteen years ago. Back then, I used to sneak my iPhone onto my knee to pretend I knew jazz standards when I really had no idea what I was doing. So long as the chords were right and my solos composed of pentatonics and random notes played really fast with some youthful confidence were enough to fool most people. When they introduced the accompaniment and practice features I thought it was a cute idea but never gave it much thought as I considered myself an “advanced” guitarist. This was way before instagram and the eight-year-olds who can play us all under the table so give me a break! About a year and a half ago, I decided to get realistic about my playing and wanted to see if I could “make the changes” using simple seventh arpeggios over “Fly Me To The Moon,” while staying in one position on the neck of my guitar. Needless to say, I ate $&*# almost immediately! Fortunately, the ability to slow the music down, transpose to different keys, and slowly increase speed over a practice session has helped me to develop a far better understanding of the fretboard than the Aebersold play-alongs of my youth ever afforded. Now I can play in all seven positions and make the changes every time. I’m even starting to move diagonally across the fretboard with some confidence that I’ll end up in the same key I started in! Though I would never have the audacity to call myself anything more than an intermediate player now that I know better, whatever faculty I possess is 100% the result of daily practice using iReal Pro!
Everything you need in a practice/ jam session tool. No need to schlep bulky real books. No lead sheets, owing to copyright laws, but that’s where your solid ear-training comes in. Change keys at flick of a button & generate printable chord charts that can be emailed to others. Technical support is quickly provided by knowledgeable, actual humans. You can also connect to the iReal community to get charts not provided in the original compilations, if your taste runs to the obscure. A true godsend to musicians.
Let me start by saying that I LOVEEE Ireal Pro, I’ve been using it for almost 7 years now and I’ve had zero complaints. Now, I was using the app on my ipad the other day like I always do and had the apple pencil in my hands, how easy it would be to actually write the chords I want with the apple pencil instead, it’d be a lot faster too. Not sure how hard this would be to develop but it sounds like an amazing idea.
What a wealth of music and options!!! And so easy to use
Perfect for trading and playing ever 🎶
