Everything on this has worked fluidly and easy to understand. After the most recent update though I don’t have a widget anymore or access to the app on my Apple Watch. Both of which really really come in handy when I need to look at my schedule quickly while in the go. Please fix this!! 🙏

Update 5.22 stopped using widgets for some reason I don’t think it’s a smart move since it made it easier to not have to open your app to look at your schechule

I’ve been using HotSchedules for about 2 years now. I find it great, and I’ve only had an issue with the most recent update. Why remove the Widget feature? Either my app isn’t allowing it (iPhone 14, latest IOS update), or it was removed, but it created a much easier way to access my schedule without having to open the app. Still easy to use, still a good schedule app, but could have been better if the widget stayed the same. Thank you.

Would love if it had widget

I don’t know if it’s a problem from the app or from updating my phone but it seems that the widget to add to my Home Screen is no longer available to find, don’t get me wrong the app helps me out a lot I just need to have the widget back on my Home Screen for a quicker glance as it was used for, other then that no other issues or complaints

The app isn’t working. I pull up my Home Screen and it’s blank. Nothing. I tried re installing it. Nothing changed. I went to ask for help from the app and there is a bubble for “discover more” that covers the space you are to type in so you can’t even see what you’re trying to convey. And then it just says I don’t understand you 100 times. How can you get help with this issue if you can’t even see what you are typing? How can I contact someone who can help?

10/29/25 app update and now when I try to open app, I just get a bright white screen. Please fix bug.

My coworkers and myself have noticed that we used to get notifications or an alert that someone has dropped a shift or picked up a shift. It was nice to hear that so I could race to my phone and pick up a shift. That no longer works for all of the staff I work with. Idk if it has affected other restaurants. Bummer. Other than that the app is very easy to navigate thru !

i haven’t even used the app yet i don’t care what it is screw my employer for making me pay 2.99 to see how much time off i have and screw hotschedules for limiting the free website version so much

Give us dark mode, android has it!

Could do better about notifications I don’t receive when changes are made in the app.

For sometime now, I will not get any pop-up notifications or text messages when my schedule has been posted, etc. I used to get them. I’ve checked all the settings. Everything is checked properly. I just don’t get notifications anymore.

It’s annoying how as an employee I have to pay for an app for my job

I don’t know if it’s just me? But probably like 3 months (I’ve had it for 3 years now) after getting the app my push notifications for the app stopped working completely so I have to solely rely on my email every time I got notifications about work… yes I checked I have them on in my actual phone settings and my app settings I tried turning them off then on again still doesn’t work. Now a couple days ago my email notifications stopped working now too. Please fix this hot schedules starting to really get annoying

My notifications for this app are on but one day my coworkers and I stopped receiving notifications.

An ok scheduling app. Major problem is that it redundantly adds appointments to your calendar, as many as 10 to 12 a day and requires lots of calendar maintenance to keep its entries correct.

Please change the old layout back! I hate the new one. It doesn’t look as clean and user friendly.
