Let’s be honest. It’s useless for finding work. Jobs posted that are 4+ months old? Inability to filter out jobs that require a clearance, I’d go on but who care? Not LinkedIn

Had to redownload the app because my phone updated and it logged me out of the app. Tried all my passwords and nothing would work so I tried the forgot password function. However, now it’s asking me to verify in the app… which is what I’m trying to get into… The only other option is to give my drivers license or a biometric scan in order to prove that it is me. I’ve searched the internet for answers and apparently many people are having this problem and no answers have been found.

I’ve been stuck in a verification loop for 3+ months due to use of a vpn. I can't verify my identity because persona alleges that I've already verified my identity - which I haven't. I've tried everything up to DMs on Twitter to emailing the support line. It's utterly ridiculous that an app of this size cannot connect you tk a support line to get your account back. The app worked great until January. I loved using LinkedIn. But after this, I wouldn't recommend this all to anyone.

I decided to reenable notifications, but immediately started getting spammed with message “Sponsored” and “LinkedIn Offer”… very annoying. I turned off notifications again and I guess I will just not get any notifications and now use your app way less.

Out of the blue, can’t use this platform without updating not only the platform but be forced to get a new phone. Wow No thanks.

And bots or people as stupid as bots replying to slop posted by shills

LinkedIn requires the update using an annoying pop up on its page, while in the App Store it does not open as it requires an iOS of 16 or higher! So updates are not valid for iOS before iPhone 16!

I did everything it asked! I verified and scanned my face and my personal ID and everything yet it still won’t let me sign in and I am missing out on my networks???? LinkedIn is a horrible app please use something else

The jobs landing page no longer allows me to access jobs saved, applied, etc. The “Job Tracker” feature is just an error page. Do better.

Just randomly had my account taken poor network I joined for school and was removed a few days later

Before I was able to save and see my saved jobs to go back and keep updated with the jobs I have applied for. Now, the job tracker doesn’t work at all and there’s no way for me to get in touch with tech support to get that fixed. I have deleted the app and downloaded again cleared the cache like it says in the asked questions section and nothing works. So now i can’t keep updates on my job search because i can’t see the jobs I have saved. It’s so frustrating that i can’t see it everything else works well so I think. I hope that the jobs I’m applying for are getting my information and I hope they email instead of responding through this app because there is no way for me to see my saved jobs. I hope tech support can get it fixed soon.

Indeed has taken a steep fall off a cliff and has not been the same indeed from before 2019. I’ve been using indeed for a very long time and at first it was always my go to app to find a job or to browse jobs to see what else is out there but unfortunately this has taken a turn for the worse and it’s to late to go the right way. Sneaky listings are now everywhere and in abundance. By sneaky I mean these are false listings set up as of recently posted an are one of a few things: •Out dated: has anyone bothered to delete the older listing jobs from years ago or 8+ months ago or longer? There is no way to find recent listings and no way to filter out the noise to find reliable sources. There is no way we should have job listings from 3 years ago posted on our front pages. •Stealing information: these same old outdated listings steal information from you name to phone numbers, emails, and resumes. Why are we allowing these kinds of thefts to happen with information so sensitive it can be used to track me and family members by searching for these delicate details and using them to further scam or steal other people’s information just connected to you we aren’t okay with someone stealing physical items from you why should we be okay with someone stealing digital information?? Scams are out of control. With the information above Scamming on indeed (and glass door because they bought them out) has become a ball park for these losers to sell and scam information as we’re just handing out info out to them like raffle tickets at a baseball game. The amount of email spam and phone calls from people in the Philippines and India is insurmountable and insane because who’s to say there isn’t someone over there pretending to be me or you reading this and don’t even know it? How many emails have you had to report spam? How many fake text and phishing scams have popped up since using indeed? For me non stop. This hasn’t happened since I started using indeed recently because I left a job about a month ago and this whole month has been issues. And lastly Devil Corps. Devil corps are corporations that as established as a real company, real name, real people, real “business”. But they’re essentially a physical establishment that is a MLM or pyramid scheme in disguise. These “corporations” essentially go after young people in their 20s or for fresh graduates looking to get their hand in sales and marketing experience. If you wanna invest in this!!!! DONOT!! There are way bette platforms in this its becoming a money vacuum out of all morals that it once had!!!! The app is more like facebook now way out of professional hiring platforms!!!!! What a waste!

This latest update has not fixed the issues with Job Tracker

This app is not user friendly at all. Half the time you can’t search for jobs at all and definitely not by location. Why would I care about a job that’s completely across the country?? You can’t find jobs you’ve saved. I’m not sure why the app exists at all when you can really only use the desk top version.

I’m not a power user by any stretch but I’m on LinkedIn daily to see commercial real estate related news and updates. It’s the most in-tune network related to what I do. Many other social networks out there but they often get far too political and too general. Hopefully, LinkedIn can stay focused. If so, I’ll be a long-time user and maybe one day a so-called power user.

When editing my profile, the headline does not show all the content I’ve entered. This makes it difficult to review and edit what I have entered. The editor should wrap text in order to visualize what has been entered.
