I went to turn on my app and now it requires a 16.6. So how am I to use this. I can’t look at my LinkedIn anymore cause my phone only goes up to 15.7 so now what.

My account was temporarily restricted for reasons I am unaware of. The only way to “fix” this issue is to use Persona to verify your account, however persona is just as unreliable. So now I am locked out of my account, and LinkedIn has no support options unless you are signed in, which I am unable to do. What a joke. Update: LinkedIn support contacted me with a link to fix the issue. The link also gives me an error message as soon as I submit a help request. This app needs a phone number so badly. A 3 month lockout could be fixed in less than 5 minutes.

Nothing but trash ai posts. Also extremely overpriced and the way they handle payments is a disgrace. Apparently they don’t make enough money because they had to find some janky and completely inconvenient way for the user to cancel subscriptions. An overall shame.

I’ve never written a review but this app is SO BAD. I love the concept of LinkedIn but the mobile app is absolutely garbage. I’ve updated, deleted, redownloaded. The security verification systems don’t work and I’m unable to get into my account. This app needs serious work immediately.

Why is it that everytime I reset my phone to clear cache it requests that I validate my ID. I do it through Persona whith my driver's license ID and Passport card to which apparently it does not validate me.

App is almost unable due to the all the security and captcha and all the ads and bugs. WHY DO YOU HAVE MORE SECURITY THAN MY BANK??? WHY IS IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO LOGIN TO THE ACCOUNT I JUST MADE???

Instead of getting jobs on my feed i get notifications about how other people are doing in their careers and i cant turn it off I HATE IT SO MUCH

Looking for a job on LinkedIn is a horrible experience. Not only does it show you jobs that you aren’t looking for not in the area that you’re looking for it in. Most of the jobs are still have been on there for months and then claimed to not be looking anymore as an excuse to not give you an interview while keeping their postings up and deleting them and reposting them. There are also a lot of fake job listing and scams on there. I think there needs to be regulations when jobs claim to be customer service and they are actually sales jobs. I don’t believe LinkedIn filters or cares about job listings as much as they just care about users on the app in general even if that means they just send a bunch of invitation invitations to a bunch of random people.

Scammers find it quite simple to post fake jobs and contact those of us in need to find them. I’ve seen fake company profiles and ones that look to be real but when you’re emailed, they send mail from email that looks the same except for one letter or they use gmail, yahoo, etc. There are constant fake posts from Netflix and other large companies claiming to need customer service reps but then Netflix denies it’s them. Beware!!! Do NOT trust LinkedIn!!!

Made me do several captcha puzzles and then locked me out of my account when I was done. Went through a verification process where I provided my ID and they said they won’t let me in for another 5 days. Ridiculous

It is a great platform as long as people are being honest about who they are and what they do. It’s professional and educational. I am a better leader because of it.

Only alerts me about jobs that are relevant after they’ve stopped accepting applications, or jobs that are irrelevant to my degree.

When I click anything from the sidebar, the app freezes, I tried uninstalling the app, reinstalling it again, nothing has changed

UPDATE: just got an app update, updated. Same issue. Not sure what has changed. As of the past day or so, when I sort my job search by most recent, it only shows 1-3 jobs that match my request. Even though it shows hundreds before I sort by most recent. No other filters. Does not matter what my search term is, if I sort by most recent, there are only ever 2-3 jobs displaying. So frustrating! Foolish that I’m paying for premium too!
