It’s hard to navigate I can’t find my saved jobs. You put in local jobs and it’s not. If im in Delaware why would you send me jobs from Texas?????? Just deleted the app

I activated my 1 month free trial, and a lot of the times you can immediately cancel and you’ll still have it for the trial period so you don’t forget to cancel later. LinkedIn even said I’d still have access through the trial period. That was not the case. It immediately cancelled. I contacted support to reinstate it and it’s been 5 days with a support ticket open. It shouldn’t take a week to fix such a minor user issue. The app itself is good, but if you ever need customer support, you’re better off praying to the high heavens that it magically fixes itself than actually getting support to help.

The main feed has turned into Facebook light. I see more nonsense and political garbage than anything business related . Recruiters at post jobs and to reach them directly are 99% fake you reach out and you never hear back from them. On the job search side There seems to be more fake companies, fake jobs and scammers than ever before. Recruiters will reach out to me ask for an updated résumé and then ghost me 98% of recruiters or companies never get back to the job applicant they really need to do better and find a way to get rid of all the scammers fake jobs fake companies and really help people. I was laid off two years ago and those folks on my team that have found jobs didn’t get them through LinkedIn , they really need to do better.

A recent report has revealed that upon visiting LinkedIn.com, hidden code searches your computer for installed software, collects the results, and transmits them to their servers and to third-party companies including an American-Israeli cybersecurity firm.

Before this recent update, I could search for / filter jobs in specific locations. Since the update, the results send me jobs in other locations EXCEPT the jobs in the location specified in the location field. I don’t need to see jobs in New York, Wisconsin and Florida for example when I only want to see jobs in Virginia. This is frustrating…please fix.

Also won’t let you cancel subscription on safari

For $40 a month, you’ll get immediately swamped by accounts claiming to help u make your resume more attractive, you’ll get offers by companies that aren’t verified but warned to look out for by linked in. Even as a premium user u can go into the settings to “turn off” messages that are ads, but you’ll still get constant ads for “schools” and “certifications”. You’ll see a stream of employers posting marriage photos and talking about how employers need to give people a chance.. yet never mention positions they’re hiring for.. you’re paying for facebook with extra ads and no actual help

This junk will ping you with "1 new update" intentionally vague reminders for **sponsored** posts that you did not or do not follow, even if you're paying for LinkedIn Premium. It's a trash experience and it's absolutely tragic that it's monopolized it's position in the marketplace.

Wish the vetted for ghost job postings. I swear 90% of the jobs I applied too using this app were just that. Do not recommend.

They’ll offer you free trials of premium and then wait a week it ends to bill you so it’s too late for you to request a refund and the premium account just sends you emails with jobs that are already closed to applications at the time of the email. It offers no benefit to your job search to pay at all and it just scams you out of money.

This app spies on its users on a day to day basis and sends the information to a certain protected people who wear a tiny hat.

I've been using this app for a few years now, and I can confidently say, based on my own experience and multiple studies from others like Anna Papalia, that this app is a scam designed to take your money, give false hope, collect your data, and post a lot of ghost jobs. Many people like myself have applied for numerous jobs where we knew we were qualified, but never received any response. One or two no-shows might be understandable, but when it happens five, ten, or twenty times, something isn't right. This pattern is happening across the whole app. Even when you talk to their recruiters about these issues, they try to gaslight you. Would not recommend 10-10.

If you follow me you know I am authentic in voicing my thoughts...99.9 percent of the time, I will hit a home run, but then there are those that do not seat well with my audience...Yes I have one. When I can barely get a post out ( I always forget spellcheck...so I edit...impression are clicking fast than I can control. I know my post make the reader laugh, or really think about an issue from a different angle ...The banter is real. Thanks LinkedIn.

My app is updated. All I’m seeing are posts by random people in groups. Or ads. Rarely seeing updates from people in my network. I refresh and it’s more garbage. What happened?

The notifications are so annoying I had to turn off each of them which was a lot!!!!

UPDATE: just got an app update, updated. Same issue. Not sure what has changed. As of the past day or so, when I sort my job search by most recent, it only shows 1-3 jobs that match my request. Even though it shows hundreds before I sort by most recent. No other filters. Does not matter what my search term is, if I sort by most recent, there are only ever 2-3 jobs displaying. So frustrating! Foolish that I’m paying for premium too!
