Note that if you want to pay for the pro tier version(s) they will charge you $9.99 for the software and then an additional $9.99 for the tier. So you are purchasing the app for the year at $19.98… still not bad if you know how to use this app.

This drives me crazy. Just don’t even have the free one for your benefit of getting downloads. Great app when you pay…. Just be upfront and stop the intentional deception.

This is an excellent radar app for phones out there. People that leave out 1-3 start reviews not knowing how to use or misusing it should at least do research, watch tutorials, and/or read the users guide on how to use the app. This is an PROFESSIONAL radar app, not a normal weather forecast app.

It seems you have to upgrade to Pro to get most of the features. I don’t think the basic features are any better than AccuWeather and it only shows 20 minutes of radar. Wish I hadn’t spent the $10!

I have used and subscribed to all the high end radar apps including RadarOmega and WeatherWise and Scope provided better radar and more importantly their own feed on the higher sub so you are not left high and dry if NWS/NOAA servers are having issues. It also is easier to detect couplets and hook echoes on Scope. The only thing I’d love to see Scope implement would be access to weather models and possibly a quicker way to switch radar sites.

RadarScope has been a great resource for me to see when a tornado or storm is approaching it’s also a good way of navigating the storm. Great app!

I love this app on my phone. But…on the watch it has this info banner that covers the screen. And there is an X to close it. BUT it’s behind the station banner so you can’t close it and there for you can’t see the radar. Very sad. I would love to have this for those moneys I don’t want to carry my phone.

This is an outstanding app, which I use nearly every day in Florida summers. The radar images appear to be right up to date and accurate. The only thing I would like to see added is CarPlay support so I can see radar at a glance while driving.

Still one of the better apps out there. But service and quality has degraded over time. Constantly required to input my Apple user information to get premium features. Data is inconsistent and leaves you wanting for more.

I love this app, as a storm spotter I love having high definition radar on my phone but as my needs have grown my budget is full. It simply is not worth it to use radar scope over other options any more now that GR2Analyst has most of the options that tier 2 contains in a one time price that covers advanced live volume rendering. Oddly enough if I wanted to use radar scope on my pc I would have to pay another fee for an app I already pay for on my phone to get less features even with a subscription. I mean if you made RadarScope for pc covered by the tier 1 subscription you would be getting so many customers and keep more people like me in the app. Another important part, there is no good app for viewing soundings and radar at the same time WSV3 and Pro Tier 2 are too close to the same price and WSV3 is 100x better than RadarScope. Please consider adding these features also why is smoothing only in pro tier 2 that is very odd.

My go to App for local radar. Love the measurement feature and vectors. Essential for determining boating activity.

Almost no radar app comes close to this one in terms of functionality. The price, albeit steep despite previously being free, is well worth the investment for anyone looking to conduct comprehensive radar observation or analysis. Abundant radar products, soundings, satellite images, and warning tracker features (among many more) make this app stand out from a traditional App Store radar application.

I am not a weather professional, but have a keen interest in weather radar, living in a tornado prone zone in the southeast. I bought the Pro tier 1 version and it comes with the advanced radar features I was looking for. I didn’t want to get the Tier 2, because it is a significant monthly subscription. I looked to see if I got roads on the tier 1 version, and it was supposed to have that. That is where my problem is. I can tell from the app where the problem areas are (in general), but can’t get any reference to exactly where it is in relation to my location, or those of my family. The roads that are shown are extremely limited, and not labeled so getting your bearings on where the tornado is within the county is impossible. This is a simple feature to implement and they have it implemented, but they do not implement any useful map capability without a monthly subscription. Probably won’t renew my yearly subscription if they don’t implement at least street level mapping in new releases

Fantastic app with good location finding an up-to-date radar feeds. No ads, professional subscription for those who would like/need it

First of all, this app and service is not that special. It acts as if it is the holy grail of all radar apps, when in fact it’s a giant scam. It advertises repeatedly that family sharing is available, but still has the nerve to charge every family member an upfront cost. Why? This app by default offers very little functionality. You allow me to share the subscription, but at this point for my family to have a detailed radar image, we have to pay repeatedly. You aren’t upfront about this. Shame on you. Requesting a refund for this bloatware.

Working outdoors in Florida RadarScope is almost a necessity

All the one star reviews are from people without a weather background. This is a pro app so you have to know something about meteorology. If you don’t, use one of the hundreds of gimmick radar apps. I use this app often to check on those Florida afternoon thunderstorms and tropical systems. Helps plan my day. An excellent radar only app. No fluff or simulations. loads fast, easy to use, and includes alerts.

It does not do anything it claims it does. It will not show radar, animate, stalls on loading, shows nothing but locations, with no data. Loads and loads. No lightning detection or storm tracks. Just a black screen with names. Junk App!!

Free online radars are so much more sophisticated, keeping my family safe other than the free tier of radar scope. Useless.

Charges you 9.99 just to download the base app, then wants an additional 9.99/year to unlock most of the features.
