I never review apps, not worth the time usually. This ad blocker is GREAT! Literally no ads or popups whatsoever on safari.

no pop ups, ads, etc. great purchase, but i hate redirects the most. if im on a sketchy website, i click something, and it redirects me to a even more sketchy website, it wont block that.

$4 for a year, it’s every bit as good as 1Blocker or AdBlockerPro which both cost more. I switched to Wipr 2 for 2026 after using 1Blocker for my iPhone 17 pro and MacBook Air and it offers all the same functionality. Great app.

I’ve tried many of the adblockers out there. Including AdGuard, 1Blocker, uBlock Origin, and more. Wipr 2 is the ONLY one to block 100% of all the ads in 4 separate tests. Plus, it’s very efficient on resources and probably the simplest to set up. Yea you have to pay for this app. But it’s a NO BRAINER.

I was frustrated that several ad blockers and pop-up blockers I had tried couldn’t defeat the sign-in pop-ups from Google that seem to be proliferating on more and more websites, so when I saw Wipr 2’s ad state that it addressed that issue I decided to roll the dice and spend the money on the app. At first it didn’t work for that issue, but I submitted feedback and the amazing developer emailed me right away to suggest a fix, which I did - and then I discovered I also hadn’t set the Safari setting for Content Blockers to be enabled on all websites. After that it worked perfectly! I highly recommend this app, especially if you’re frustrated by Google sign-in pop-ups.

In 2024 Ive been having issues with Malware coming from ads on several wikis. But thanks to the original wipr and now this version. I have NO problems with those stupid ads causing a lot of problems and saves me from getting stressed out! (Wish I could give out 10 stars btw). Overall, best ad blocker in the world in my view!

Wonderful and worth the money

Really love that they would have their iPhone version ;’(. It’s amazing just because it block all the YouTube ads, if you compare to the 12-15 monthly bucks for YouTube premium, this 4.99 price is practically a gift. Where aro guys lunching the iPhone version???? Really need it.

I paid very little for this piece of software, and it has blocked every single ad and never given me any issue. I wish it costed more so I could give the developer more money. Bravo!

I have tried and been unsatisfied with several Safari Adblock extensions. I’m satisfied with this one. It’s not expensive. Buy once, no subscription.

Thing is with Wipr that you forget about it and things that it does. You soon get to take granted how web looks like. THAN you see someone else’s phone and you don’t understand what the hell is going on. And THAN you remember you have Wipr on your phone. Trust me it is not appreciated enough. Damn thing is I don’t have it on my windows pc.

Maybe it’s just the web getting exponentially worse, but I find that this app leaves most ads and annoyances exactly where they are. I’ve also had to disable Wipr far more often than any other blocker I’ve tried due to it just flat out breaking a website. Pretty disappointed. Need to find a new blocker now, because my mobile browsing experience currently is very bad. On the major plus side, the developer pushes lots of updates and clearly cares about the project. I can’t fault them for that!

Very impressed. I just downloaded it and it’s already blocked all the annoying ads from my novel-reading website. Ads used to not bother me so much especially when I could close them. I am not sure what happened recently but there have been a slew of more and more ads that don’t have an option to close and I was getting beyond frustrated. I stumbled upon this app when googling ad blockers and decided to take a chance and am very glad I do. It’s worth every dollar I spent and I am more than happy to support a developer who’s willing to go this far and create such an amazing app.

This app never worked for me. I still see ads. I am past the refund date otherwise I would ask for my money back.

Wipr2 is worth it. I've tried free/paid apps like block-bear, block1, brave, adguard. too many to list. I've downloaded cookie / pop up preventer apps. I was tired of having to use three apps. Wipr2 does it all in one easy app. Safari is so much easier to navigate. The developer is honest about what this app does. Which is making the browsing experience as free. Some sights are catching on and if you turn off the Wipr2 extra prompt..they work. Not worried! The developer keeps it updated and simple. Battery performance is prime. Read her story it's fascinating. I look forward to the evolution of this app! Thank you creator of Wipr2!

Been using this for 7 months now and its been amazing. I don’t get any ads anymore, everything also feels much more smooth and fast. I also love how the app gets updated constantly making sure that it runs its best. I definitely recommend this to anyone dealing with those annoying ads on every website.

this app is a must have for your iPhone, iPad and Mac. It works incredibly well.
