Meta AI - Assistant & Glasses

The latest app released last week drained my battery on Meta Ray Ban Display. While my battery used to last until 3-4 PM, now I am lucky if it’s still charged by 11 AM. Meta released a new LLM model at the same time, and something is drastically eating up the battery. I tried doing a full wipe, but it didn’t help at all. I hope Meta fixes this ASAP, or else the glasses are pretty much useless.

Do not download this meta AI On you phone privacy and security you choose none access to my phone gallery but still the app has completely access to your entire gallery and your other apps. YOU DONT HAVE ANY PRIVACY WITH THIS APP 🤮🤮🤮

If animated should last longer if you wanted it’s extremely buggy when you want a longer video or animation it’s usually around 5 seconds be nice if the ai can listen to make it to around up to 1-5 minutes which it doesn’t adjust duration times. And should be able to personally alter the prompt animation once it’s been animated

Pairing and photo transfer is obscure, and Meta AI kept giving me wrong answers. I wouldn’t trust it for anything. I might keep the glasses to take videos and transfer them. Otherwise, mine are going back.

News app and YouTube reels is the only apps I’m waiting for Meta Ray-ban Display.

I had the first generation of Ray Ban Stories, and I enjoyed them till they stopped working. The new generation is a game changer, 3 min video clips. Much better and stable syncing with the phone. Voice control is fabulous and the AI features are so much fun. My only complaint is I wish I could boost the sound level. But maybe I just haven’t figured out how yet. Having so much fun with these. If you are into gadgets that actually exceed expectations, run, Run to get these. You won’t be disappointed. And they are cheaper than the first generation!

Got this to go with a Garmin Forerunner 970. Trying to connect Meta AI to Garmin app fails every time. If you are going to highlight that it works with Garmin devices… it probably shouldn’t fail at that.

The animation is horrible at this stage. Won’t even do basic asks

Terrible privacy

This is ridiculous. It was once very simple. You take a photo and then you could check It out. Now you take a photo and it might take up to 30 minutes to even locate it. “Engineers” have nothing better to do than make processes more difficult, slower, classified according to THEIR, interpretations, which are more difficult, piciune, wierd just harder and more difficult to access. Pathetic.

Meta IS THE KING OF AI

I figured after allowing time for Meta to work out the bugs, I could test Meta AI to see where it stands. Objectively, it still lags quite a bit behind its competitors. The worst part is anything you do, they slap a “Meta AI” watermark for advertising. Not to mention how it is so interconnected with Facebook and Instagram. It allows them to spam your contacts on both to advertise meta AI in an attempt to get others to download. I can’t opt out of that for my contracts. You are going to get you die hard Meta fans giving five stars no matter what. My two stars is fair and you should verify for yourself.

Only issue is that the widget glitches out and doesn’t show the buttons properly when making app icons clear or tinted. Please fix that.
