I had the worst experience on this app. Making $5 in 1 hour. Absolutely not, do NOT recommend accepting every order. Examine it first, the supervisors also do not call you back!!!

Why do I have to pay for an update on my phone?

Doesn’t even send orders and it gets paused 🙄and why even pause~ its run at own discretion 😖

They told me to DoorDash because it was busy, I put all my $50 in the gas tank and dashed until I ran out, I was stranded and I had only made $10. That $10 wasn’t going to get me home they told me “sorry man that sucks” and hung up.

I have been trying to create an account for 6 MONTS! I first tried to make the account and it wouldn’t let me finish because I wasn’t old enough in that state yet, I ended up moving to a state where I was old enough and I called and I called and I called. I talked to them probably 17 TIMES at this point. NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. They keep saying to do a new review request which I have done about 15 times. NO EXAGGERATION. I end up have to wait weeks after every single one and literally nothing is taken care of so they make me do another one. Finally months after I am the right age in this new state, and after tons more calls and reviews and talking to lots of supervisors, my identity was approved. I then finished making the account and it said I need an account review. They then tried saying I have multiple accounts. HOW WOULD I HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNT IF I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MAKE THE ONE FOR THE PAST SIX MONTHS?!?! I have called and talked to supervisors and their managers since, and they said they will look into it and fix it. Then after they said that I called again and now they are saying they can’t do nothing about it, that I have to wait ANOTHER FEW MONTHS TO EVEN TRY AGAIN AND HAVE IT BE REJECTED AND GO THROUGH THE SAME THING FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS! Absolutely terrible. This has been the worst experience with an app I have ever had. I don’t understand what the problem is and why they can’t just fix it.

Every week there is some new feature or policy designed to screw over dashers, like now we’re marked late when restaurants take too long??

Compared to Uber’s app for their drivers, Door Dash is 100% trash. No CarPlay support, which requires you to constantly look at your phone. Also, pay is horrible - you’ll never reach $1/mile and even as a Platinum driver you’ll get tons of lowball offers and if you decline them, you lose your Platinum status. For the past 2 weeks, each day I’ve driven over 100 miles and barely made $50-$60 and after gas, even less. POTENTIAL DRIVERS BEWARE!!! This company does not care about its drivers.

App constantly freezes/locks up

Is great for a side hustle. The only issue I have is that for the distance they have you travel sometimes and what you get for pay is kind of blah. 15mi. for 7$ is kinda lame along with allowing the customer to not leave a tip is also lame

The app has so many bugs, I need to cancel one out of three orders because of issues with the system, always on DoorDash‘s end. The app finds ways to unwillingly bring down your acceptance rate. A lot of work is needed.

I have been doing DoorDash for a good while now and i feel that even though I am platinum dasher my earnings are about the same each day. I get capped at about 100 or less and it rarely goes over that amount now. What i hate the most is that customers don’t even tip for their orders and you are mainly getting paid by miles. I have only passed 100 twice which was 120 one day and 150 on another a long time ago but since then its usually 100 or less. I also don’t like that around 1pm i get an order that takes 30 minutes to drop off outside my zone and by the time i drive back an hour passes by and i lost many opportunities to earn more money because of long distance deliveries that are only paying for miles. Those long deliveries should make it worth it since i only made 13’ dollars in one hour because of one order which makes it those orders the worst orders to do. I have been more disappointed and discouraged with DoorDash because my earnings are capped even after doing all the hard work to get to platinum. I have pizza bag and even do multiple orders at one time but customers not tipping for orders make this even worse on a daily basis. It would be better to see if you are actually being tipped before accepting an order and what area you are delivering to so you are not taking orders taking you too far away from the zone. For example like driving from one side of town to downtown for one order should at least be 20 dollars just on the order route and time to get there and back

Look I really like this app it makes me feel confident that I really don’t need to work for other people and I could just spend time developing myself and make my own money because at worse I could just make $20 an hour doing this but there should be a way to rate the people who order food so that if a person is like repeatedly, a low tipper and order is really long distance there’s a way to not have them affect your acceptance rate if client has a one star rating then you should be straight out not penalized for refusing

the app will not give you order offers when you are parked, it will only send them out while you are driving, forcing you to be on your phone while you drive. the orders you receive while driving usually require you to preform u-turns to get to the restaurant, completely sending you off course. it is not worth it, the only good thing about it is that you can choose the order you pickup / drop off orders if you are doing multiple at once. other wise, it feels like the app is encouraging you to crash / engage in risky driving behavior for offers that never pay off.

This is a waste of your time. They hardly pay cover gas. You are always waiting on restaurants. Customer service is useless. The tips are always terrible. This is a 1 star app.

Now that the customer can adjust the tip, these dishonest people are tipbaiting and DoorDash is allowing it, throwing all their good drivers away

This version is extremely buggy! And it is not an understatement. It will not come back from pause mode if you go away from it and browse the internet. Even when it is active and you go browsing the internet, and you have an alert to pickup, there are times you will not be able to accept the offer because the app is frozen!

This app is trash, a lot of bugs, lacks, ants ..... A very low budget coding. That thing of "Saved Zone" is so stupid and goes against the drivers limiting the amount of orders that the driver can take. Uber app is more complete, more interactive, less stupid, less trouble.

Not only top gaslighting app but now constantly freezing. Every update goes worse and worse. New glitches. Tons of glitches.

I can’t confirm my orders i have perfectly good service when i try go back in it won’t let me. DoorDash needs to fix this app they take away your orders and when you try to log back in they won’t let you.

Disgusting app that steals tips from its workers all while jacking up the prices for consumers. Do not download. Massive waste of money. This company does not deserve a single cent of your hard earned money.
