Don’t believe many of the AI reviews on here. The support system can be a real bear to tackle. Money is good and bad depending on the customers. They have you on the rewards system with different tiers. As far as better offers, it doesn’t help too much to be platinum. You really get the feeling Door Dash doesn’t see you as a human. It’s a mixed bag. Door Dash needs to let the customers know most of us are contract workers that aren’t paid hourly. There is a large presumption that we are all hourly so the tips are just a bonus.

A company so eager to try a collab/publicity stunt with [a dementia-addled racist buffoon/Epstein pal/war criminal/liar/grifter/traitor/lazy glutton] cannot be trusted. Neither can its battery eating/data harvesting worker exploitation app. If DoorDash and DiaperDon are in cahoots now, you certainly don’t want to keep this on your phone. Delete the account while you’re at it.

I’ve been a dasher for 4 years and it’s really gone down hill very little orders now when I used to get 50 a day easy money is just not the same either if you’re looking for a job DoorDash is sadly not good rn

Disgusting app that steals tips from its workers all while jacking up the prices for consumers. Do not download. Massive waste of money. This company does not deserve a single cent of your hard earned money.

I am a Platinum DoorDash driver and I love the flexibility of being able to Dash whenever I want. The only thing I absolutely hate is the Acceptance Rating! It’s terrible! They should do away with it or not make it affect your overall rating so much! If I am the driver with my car, gas etc, then I should not get a lower rating due to the acceptance rate. Why should I get lower rating for not wanting to take a terrible offer that doesn’t even add up to pay for the gas to pick up and then deliver? It’s lame! They really should do away with the acceptance rate or make it have less of an effect on your Dasher rating! Other than that it’s a great app with great customer service! Just my thoughts! The support service is disgusting

I’m honestly disappointed in DoorDash after seeing that so-called “grandma” video. It felt completely staged and emotionally manipulative, like they were trying way too hard to pull on people’s heartstrings instead of just being genuine. What bothers me most is that instead of focusing on improving real customer and driver experiences, they’re investing in scripted content that comes off fake and misleading. It makes me question how authentic anything they promote really is. As a customer, I’d rather see transparency and better service than viral marketing stunts. This kind of content just feels out of touch and leaves a bad impression. Definitely makes me trust the brand a lot less.

Until today. I refuse to work for a company who supports the orange lunatic. Do better and FDT. I’ll take my check and leave.

Door dash should stop start paying more drivers

Back when I first started dashing orders would come in left and right. You could select dash now and start earning extra cash to help pay bills. That is not the case no more I’ve been trying to dash this couple of months now and still no orders. Please fix why ever issue that may be causing this. At every fast food spot I go to I hear the chime but never on my phone. I’m wasting more gas on driving to hotspots than I am delivering. I find it inconveniently frustrating that I can be parked at a hot spot for hours and still not get one simple order.

Will not allow me to turn off reading of offers and deliveries. App has had a bug everyday since its existence.

Door Dash uses fake actors for their own political agenda. Door Dash used an actor as an “everyday American grandma” who lived in Nevada to testify about how “No Tax On Tips” would help her. Then she moved to Arkansas, but delivered McDonalds to the White House in DC to the POTUS, outside his tacky gold platted Oval Office, to again push how “No Tax On Tips” is helping her. Try using a different actor next time so no one notices you are using an actor. These PR stunts by Door Dash are so fake.

When the app works it’s pretty good. Unfortunately it messes up a lot and then they penalize you in your ratings. It can be good, but they just don’t care enough to do it.

I do a lot of complaining about DoorDash. But today they had my back when a customer tried to claim they did not get an order. The order was delivered to a secure area with cameras, so it would be very easy to prove that it was delivered DoorDash removed any negative comments on this delivery and I do appreciate it. Never gets old with the people out here that try to rip off DoorDash and give Dashers a bad name. Thank you, DoorDash.

Any time you are dashing and want to click on the settings button in the top left to view the quick shot of the map and your route for the particular dash you are on it shows it for about 2-3 seconds and then it disappears from the screen and you get the red spinning circle. About the time you have to zoom in and read the street names it disappears and you have to keep exiting out and clicking on it 50 times in order to try to make out the map. How app designers and testers don’t catch these things I’ll never understand.

So on Saturday, November 2, 2024 I was picking up a Papa John’s pizza order at 1819 Lake Ave., Knoxville, TN 37916 picking up a DoorDash order for a customer after me leaving and picking up the Customer order. There was a huge major long traffic in downtown in Knoxville Tennessee at the university of Tennessee of Knoxville after that, I finally leave the downtown area in Knoxville, Tennessee, and deliver to a college student house in at 3415 Gap Rd., Knoxville, TN 37921 and after that I drop off their order at the front door and leave and after several hours later, I got a contract violation. By DoorDash saying that I deliver the food 23 minutes late and I file a dispute on that write up DoorDash telling me that they give me a write up for me delivering the food 23 minutes late then after that, I drive back to the Customer house informing them that you order the food and you set me up and informing me that I got a ride up and a customer threatening to push out the deck me going back to your house, informing them this issue and I got fired and deactivated from DoorDash discrimination, and harassing the customer and I file an appeal and my deactivation and I feel like I feel I was wrongfully terminated and fired and got wrongfully deactivated from DoorDash I explained my frustration just because I called a customer name and DoorDash does not care about their delivery driver, especially they’re using their own gas and their vehicle maintenance to their own vehicle and they have to pay for it own gas for the own vehicle and Customer just trying to get delivery driver in trouble getting fired or trying food trying to get fraudulent compensation and reimbursement saying the food never get delivered or the food get delivered late and calling to DoorDash and manipulating and I do not recommend you deliver with DoorDash ever again because they do not care about you at all of any situation and frustration that you have with the customer or with them. This is my experience for me working and delivering with DoorDash and it all happened on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

This app needs to adjust its delivery rates; I refuse to even see a two-dollar delivery pop up on my phone screen.
