I installed IMO for $6.99 because it was recommended for international communication. It works in Russia, Egypt , Italy and it works in US, but it did not work between countries. Profile/invite link doesn't open properly, and adding friends across region fails, so calling , messaging/messaging connection across US- Russia , US - Egypt and IS- other countries is basically impossible. This is extremely misleading, and none of these cross-country restrictions are clearly disclosed on Apple Store page. It feels like a bait-and-switch and honestly look like the scam, especially when they say they are number one in smth. Please be transparent about regional limitations.

Doesn’t work as advertised. Didn’t even let me add a contact manually if outside the country.

Unusable app. Tried to install to communicate with relatives outside of USA, but app recognizes only us phone numbers. The option to add account manually is not disabled, but once you click on “add” nothing happens.

The app doesn’t work internationally. You can not communicate with the users from other countries. Looks like a scam . Get charged $6.99 for nothing

There is no option to change the country when signing in and the app doesn’t use my current US number. I paid for this app and can’t to enter it.

This app is completely useless. Even though the required country is listed, you can't add a contact. You can add a contact from the country you're currently in, but that's pointless. The app doesn't do its job. It sends SMS, which is a paid service. You can do that yourself if you want, without any apps. It's a scam.

The app requires a USA number to log in, so if you don’t have a prefix of +1, the download is just a waste of money. I requested a full refund and if it is provided, this review will be deleted.

I’d like to request a full refund for this app. It appears to bean unfinished beta version and it’s not usable for its intended purpose. I’m not sure why it’s publicly available at this state. Please reach out about the refund.

I paid the money, but I can’t add a phone number, and on the other hand, I can’t make a call or send a message — the app doesn’t do anything at all.

The previous version was Free and could be used with Non US phone number. Do not purchase if you don’t have a US phone number.

I purchased this app to talk to my dad because he live in Dubai. This app is garbage dont waste money and time.

I had to pay 6.99 plus tax which comes to 7.57 when I downloaded the app. Everyone else around me were able to download it for free. I can’t even add phone numbers to the app to call. I want a refund for this lack of service.

I should have read comments before paying $6.99 for this trash. The app doesn't work for contacting people in other countries. Totally useless. Legitimate apps don't charge anything to download. Stay away from this garbage!

Paid app that doesn’t work. It’s full of bugs, and it’s impossible to find or invite friends — you can only choose from a limited list. Do not recommend!! Deleting it.

Don’t bother downloading this app. I feel like I was scammed into paying $6.99. In this day and age who needs an app that doesn’t provide international service?
