It’s not the same imo that everyone else is using (which is free btw). The developer is different and it doesn’t allow to add any contact outside of US.

Very difficult to import contacts and new ones are not picked up. And yes it does not work between USA and Russia which was the critical point. Scam and garbage. No support, nothing

If you don’t connect between countries give your app different name and don’t confuse customers! Unless it was done on purpose to get money for the service you do not provide

It appears to be a clone of the app, since it does not allow adding international numbers and does not recognize them. It’s impossible to call abroad or find contacts in the contact list if they have international numbers. I deleted it within 15 minutes after installing it. Please issue a refund.

$7 for a hunk of junk that only ‘works’ within individual countries. Even within the country purchased it is barely functional.

After logging into the app, it’s impossible to change the region, and therefore you can’t enter a phone number from any country other than the United States. Nothing helps.

This “fabulous” app let me call to US contacts only. Support button is not working, developer’s website chat is silent, social network inquiries ignored. 100% scam! I need my $7 back!

I am having serious issues with the imo app when trying to connect with people internationally. Both me (in the United States) and my friend (in Moscow / Italy) have installed imo, registered with our phone numbers, and added each other correctly in our phone contacts using the proper international formats (+1 and +7 / +39). However, we cannot find each other inside the app at all. When I search for their number, nothing shows up. The same happens on their side. Nothing works. Please fix contact synchronization and improve reliability for international users.

This is a complete SCAM. You buy the app expecting it to do what you actually paid for, but it only works with US contacts and only for users in the US. What is the point of this? Why is this not mentioned ANYWHERE at all? They market themselves as a messenger without limitations, which is clearly a lie. I will be reporting this to Apple and asking them to remove it as a scam
