I installed it for ~7$, but it appears USA contacts only showed up. I tried to add foreign contacts but it was not possible. Waste of time and money. I wanted my money back.

This is an imposter, not related to imo.im, don’t download - you’ll be scammed by $6.99. The idea is bluntly stupid, it just redirects you to iMessage when you hit “start chatting” button.
I installed this version and even payed 6.99$ but it doesn’t work to call outside the US, which was the whole point of installing the app! This is plain theft! Do NOT buy!

It doesn’t allow you to call some of the contacts you have on your phone I’m very disappointed. For one person I downloaded this app to call and it doesn’t allow me to call.
Downloaded to connect with my family, but the app bugs when I try to add a foreign number and don’t show any phone numbers outside of US.
A useless app. It only detects contacts within the region to which your account is linked. In other words, if you have a U.S. number, it is impossible to message someone in another country who has Imo installed. A complete waste of money.
I just downloaded this app, and it's completely useless. I can't change the country (default is the US) or enter my phone number. What did I pay for?
This app mimics another app with the same name and icon as one in the App Store in other regions, but it has no relation to it and doesn’t provide the same services.
App sucks, segregation by region is absolutely ridiculous
It doesn’t allow you to call to other countries at all. Waste of money
After logging into the app, it’s impossible to change the region, and therefore you can’t enter a phone number from any country other than the United States. Nothing helps.
I downloaded this version from the US App Store and even paid for it, but it didn’t work at all. No calls, no messages — completely useless. Then I changed my Apple ID region and found the real FREE imo app. After installing that, everything worked smoothly.
Id you are in US you can not call to Russia
