Great app functionality, content and organization. Passed my tech exam with only using this app. Now looking at general

I don’t often review apps but this is truly a killer app. The design and layout are perfect; the flash card memory and mechanics helped me pass all three tests in just a couple of months. Just wow.

Absolutely amazing instructional design. The structure of the interface makes it super easy for you to understand where you're at in your learning experience. The choices made for the content of the Explain tab are nothing short of genius, as is the clarity around concepts worth understanding vs. stuff you just need to memorize. Makes studying fun satisfying, and something you can do whenever you have a minute or two out in the world. Huge thanks to the HamStudy team!

I really appreciate the work and care that’s gone into this. Each question has an explanation and most questions have a memory device to help you when you take the test. I especially appreciate that it’s a one time purchase and not a subscription. I was able to study for my extra class license with no internet on a plane. Well and easily worth the money and you can tell the developers care about helping you get licensed an on the airwaves. KK4KSB approved.

This app helped me pass my Tech exam. The $$$ for the mobile app was completely worth it.

This app was the only resource I used to study for the Technician exam, and I feel 100% ready to take it! I keep getting consistent passing scores, and it’s 100% worth the $3.99 price tag. My only complaint is that once you complete a question in study mode and you hit next, sometimes you might click it again to make it load faster, but doing that will select an answer while the next question is below, but this doesn’t take away any stars for me.

The practice exams and other modes do not draw uniformly. Some questions annoyingly show up again and again ad nauseum. Some questions hardly ever show up. The random number generator or overall question selection algorithm is low quality. If you use this app as your sole study aid, you will gain a false sense of confidence.

I began studying for general and in one week and making 100s. I am now beginning to study the amateur extra material. I actually have hope that before the exam time I may be able to upgrade all the way to extra because of how effective this method is.

This is I would say the best visual learning way to learn ham radio and the best way to study.

This app is exactly what you need to prepare for your exams. I had a perfect result on the Technician after 20-30 mins a day for a week. One of my examiners: “Did you happen to study using HamStudy? If so you’ll be fine.”

I used this app for an hour or two each day for about a week, and I passed the Technician, General, and Extra in one session.

Best way to study for the exam for me.

This is simply the best most efficient way to study for any class license. Period. I just aced my general thanks to this app and when I took my technician, I only got one question wrong. I cannot recommend this method enough.

The app reviews the ENTIRE question pool, as opposed to only random 35 question samples in practise exams. This is a much more comprehensive approach than practice exams which test only 11 % of the question pool. Use is fast and direct with immediate feedback. The results of practice tests provide feedback and targeted learning of missed questions. Have to toss in a positive note for the Hamstudy ebook, the companion text: clear and precise, straight to the point. Waiting for the next volume to be published and I hope that it's very soon.

Yes I passed the Ham test for General. I want to thank you Guys and Gals for the effort that went into getting me certified When I started I didn’t think my Brain could take the pressure of the study coarse, ( I am 85 years old.) Passed my technical exam. How do i obtain my ham radio license?

I bought the Gordon West study guide for technicians license and read that and used the app to study as I went along. The ability to sort the questions based on which study guide you are using is awesome! Once I finished the book and got to 99% apptitude with the app in study mode I then switched to practice tests in the app until I got consistently 95% or higher. I easily passed the actual exam and have now moved on to studying for my general license. The app makes studying so easy. It continues to give you questions you answered incorrectly until you get them right.
