I love being able to download recipes and avoid all the ads that come with the original recipe website. The app is well designed, allowing me to search for recipes based on specific ingredients.
I love this app! I was keeping recipes on Pinterest but they are increasingly filled with pop ups, ads and blogs. This app boils recipes down to the basics. The recipe search function works great. You can search a common source (aka Times Cooking, Food Network etc) from an organized drop down list or just search on your own. Recipes are easy to add. I also love how it autogenerates a grocery list when recipes are selected. The $5 one time investment was well worth it! Highly recommended!
I can easily get online recipes and follow them. I “heart” the ones I use often. I’m so grateful for a place I can go without any ads (🥳) and use my recipes! I use the grocery section every week - it’s so easy! I’ve told all my friends about it. What other apps do you make? I want to make sure you stay in business!
I’ve used Paprika over the past two years to collect and organize recipes — everything from my own card file to cookbook favorites to stuff I find on cooking websites. The simple interface is great for getting all these different recipes into a consistent format. I use the scaling feature often. I like the natural language routines that help with weights and measures. It gets better with each release, and I use it on two iOS devices and two Macs. A true bargain for the functionality it offers.
Why is it so difficult to report a bug in the app?? I have a recipe in the app. Under ingredients in edit it says 48oz of chicken broth. I save it, when the recipe opens it says 1 1/2 pounds of chicken broth. I tried to fix it but it always ends the same way!
Paprika 3 has transformed the way I store and manage recipes. The browser makes it easy to find what I need and I love the custom print formatting and recipe sharing options. Highly recommend if you enjoy cooking!
I love this app! It works perfectly, organizes my recipes and helps me use my browser to import recipes that I enjoy. This saves so much time. I also like that I can use my personalized categories. Moreover, I can use this app on my iPhone, iPad, and on my desktop which is extremely helpful. I love the ability to organize spices as well. This is hands down the best recipe app I have found.
This is a truly fantastic application, I love the browser function to shop for recipes and when I find one I easily save it to my collection. Also, really appreciate the integrated meal planning calendar and shopping list. This is perfection! Actually, one addition would be an easy way to share or send recipes through the app to other users. I’ve been recruiting all my friends to use this as well.
Wonderful tool for capturing your recipes and creating a usable repository. Accurate conversions and easy to use interface. The only challenge is organizing - it is all manual, as is the initial save function. Overall Highly recommend.
This app is absolutely brilliant and has changed my life. It removed the frustration of recipe organization and lets me focus on the joy of cooking. I can’t imagine life without this app!
I’ve been using Paprika for years and my one complaint is how difficult/cumbersome it is to add a recipe from Instagram. It’s very wonky Please add/improve this feature !
The app itself is great and is very intuitive and user friendly. Love the ease of downloading recipes and being able to keep items organized. The downfall is the pricing structure between all the different platforms. As a user with both iOS devices, Mac computers, alternate tablets and windows based computers - creating a different purchasing option for each device is extremely frustrating. There should be some sort of user account or even family plan structure where you can sync to a limited amount of authenticated devices. The pricing structure makes me want to look for other options.
I LOVED this app until the recent update. I usually print the recipes to make notes while making them for the first few times. Since the last update, the recipe directions are cut off at the right margin. This happens no matter the number of columns chosen, with or without wrapping the text, and regardless of print size. I use an iPad - all looks good on the screen. However, text is truncated (missing) when printed. I hope this problem can be fixed soon.
This app was revolutionary for me... but it hasn't kept up with how recipes are distributed now. Being able to copy and paste a web link and get an ingredient and formatted directions was fantastic. But fewer recipes are on blogs; they are on instagram and tiktok. There are apps that can peel the recipe off the reels.
This app has literally changed the way I save and use recipes. It has helped me be more organized and get rid of a lot of hard copy recipes using up room in my cupboard.
I love this app! So versatile and easy to use.
Paprika is by far one of the most useful apps I have come across. It makes it so easy to save and organize my recipes. I love how it automatically sorts the ingredients versus the directions. Absolutely love this app.
Since the last update, the print function no longer works, regardless where I print it from. I have Paprika version three on my laptop, iPad and iPhone and all three results in a printed recipe that has the right margin truncated. Have reported this to the developer and received no response.
I guess they removed the ocr features which was the main reason I purchased based on what are featured but older reviews. I’m requesting a refund and feel l got a bait and switch.
Long time user/fan of Paprika, but… In the last 2-3 months all of my recipes that I import from websites look weird and don’t convert into grocery lists properly. Can this glitch be fixed?
