Paprika Recipe Manager 3

Love it! Been using it for years 10 years since the first version.

I wish they could incorporate a bar scanner to the pantry portion. I currently only use this app for recipes. I don’t use the meal planning because I don’t use the pantry.

I’ve used Paprika since it first launched, but I’ve moved on until they fix the broken printing in the iOS app. Text is clipped off the right side, and though many users have pointed it out, they haven’t fixed it in many months.

I have been using Paprika since the beginning and I still think it’s one of the best apps out there. There has always been one thing I wish it could do and that is important from a camera. I don’t think it’s a big deal. I take pictures of recipes and use the text capture feature and then build the recipe in paprika 3 but a more direct way would be cool. If you are shopping around, do NOT fall for those subscription based services. This is the way to go and it can be used on you computer as well as the mobile platforms.

Anyone who complains about this App, has personal issues.

Overall it works the way I want. The one area that I have trouble is the grocery list. For some reason I am never sure how to confíen that I deleted everything and also that I sent the ingredients to it. Something about the wording used. Love the recipe download feature.

After using Paprika for a while I decided just to switch to my Notes app. Biggest reason why: it syncs to web for free. I can access it from any device. Paprika makes you pay another $30 if you want the computer version. Yeah Notes doesn’t have a lot of the features Paprika does but I don’t need all those extra features. The automatic scan would be the main thing I miss but that doesn’t even work great and now with LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini I can pull things more accurately and consistently myself. The UI is also a bit outdated and not pleasant to look at.

This is a wonderful way to keep all my favorite go-to recipes in one organized location that’s always with me!!

I have an issue with recipes not transferring from the Paprika 3 iPhone app to the Paprika 3 iPad app, iOS 26.4.1 version for both devices. I submitted two requests and received a message that my request was not submitted and to resubmit it. I did and received the same message, again, that I needed to resubmit my request. I would greatly appreciate someone reaching out to offer some help to resolve this issue. Thank You Very Much

Overall I like the app. It has all my recipes. I can make a meal plan, grocery list, and even track my pantry. The one thing this app is missing, that I really wish it could do, is search by ingredient. That would make me love this app.

I rarely review apps but this one is a keeper. It makes it so easy to keep track of recipes that you see online. I had my mom download it so we can share recipes. Well worth the $.

I’ve been using this app for probably 5 years now and I don’t know how I cooked anything before it. I would forget recipes or lose the recipes i liked… I tell everyone about this app because it’s exactly what you want/need if you cook often. No bells and whistles his exactly what you need.

I have been using this as my sole recipe keeper app for over 3 years now. I have over 1000 recipes saved in this app. I love that I can add my own resulting pictures to the recipes. Love that I can easily scale the size of the recipes. Love this App!

We love this app and have used it for years for recipes. Just found all the other amazing features. Like meals, pantry, groceries. I would to see groceries and pantry get expanded to be able to scan UPC for quick add.

This app seems to be missing one major feature which is the ability to print or export all recipes by category into an organized cookbook. It means that if you use this app to organization, you seem to have to use another app if you want to print a nice looking cookbook.

First time ever reviewing an app, but if any app deserves five stars it is this one! It has served me well for YEARS and is a staple in my kitchen. Love having a cache of recipe and being able to distill recipes from the internet without ads. So many great features like crossing out ingredients with a tap when I’ve added them, staying awake so I don’t have to wake my screen back up when my hands are messy, and using stars and favorite recipes to help me sift recipes to the top when I don’t know what to make! (I favorite it if I personally love it and want to make it again, but with four kids I used stars to rank it accordingly for how many people ate the meal happily!) Favorite way to use it is turning my phone landscape/sideways so I can see ingredients in one panel and steps in another. Just so used-friendly and awesome. Thank you Paprika!!

I like this app very much. Its just short of great and its the best on the market. I love the ability to automatically change the # of servings of my recipes. The seamless dowloading of any recipe online is wonderful. Smart appearance, lots of categories to add your recipes to and easy to share. An important part of any app is that it works on all my Apple devices. A bonus is that I only paid for 1 app but works on them all. Now the downsides for me. I am a formatting freak. Page organization is a major thing for my ADD. I like things to stand out or stand apart so that it is easier for my brain to process them. I really would like the ability to add blank spaces (hard spaces, tab) to separate line items as I see fit. Currently, you can only have 1 space between words and no more. There are methods to trick the program but they’re a pain to use. I would also like the ability to underline words to call attention to them. Presently, not possible. Color isn’t a necessity but would be very nice. I keep looking to see if there is anything out there better but so far this is still the pinnacle.

I’ve been using this app for years. I even rebought it when they upgraded and made people buy it again, because it’s THAT GOOD! It has everything I want. It captures recipes from websites. It has shopping lists and menus. It even lets you keep inventory of your pantry. My only suggestion is I wish it captured recipes from social media! Instagram makes it so hard to get a recipe.
