This recent update makes it impossible to place contacts at the top of the “Chat” tab and causes older chats to disappear unless tracked down using the search function. The emoji function that causes certain words such as “flame” to be changed to their emoji counterpart is also a bit annoying and makes messaging difficult. Please make this an optional feature. It would also be nice to be able to create “group chats” with two people, even if you already have one with said individual. Also, please allow users to add a photo to their chat rooms/Meetings icon for easy accessibility. I recognize that progress takes time, but it feels like this app is getting worse rather than improving. I say this only out of respect, but certain I am not the only one that feels this way. Please fix these issues! 🙏🏻

The phone integration and function with iOS is not that great. While on a call another call will ring in prompting for the iOS phone interface. After 2nd call stops ringing, you want to put current call on hold. You unlock the phone only not to find the active call. You have to load teams and then click on phone and find the floating call controls to then put the person on hold. This needs to be fixed.

Time to quit using this Lemon. A whole year has passed and still no updates. And this app is buggy and unstable on the AVP, not at par with the iPadOS version. Previous review: It’s been 8 months since the last update, no TestFlight version available for now? Did Microsoft abandoned this app?

I have set the display zoom to a larger size on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and when I try to type anything, there's no place to enter text because the keyboard covers that text area. It only happened when the larger text option was used under display zoom.

Utter rubbish. Absolutely the worst video conferencing app ever. Can’t create an account and I can’t login using my phone. Utterly unacceptable. If I could give it negative stars I would.

I have been using Microsoft Teams for a while now for tutoring when my students are not able to meet in person. It used to work reliably enough compared to the other apps. However, I can no longer get the camera to turn out of selfie mode, which I need it to do to show the students my dry erase board. I’m having to screen share my note app and use my finger to write! I hate to switch to another app as I have everyone else scheduled out on here, but I might have to. Additionally, it refuses to clear a notification from my chats despite there not being any unopened chats, which isn’t critical but it is annoying. Deleting and reinstalling has not worked, so these are glitches in the app.

This app doesn’t work on iPhones? This whole move from Skype to Teams is not favorable to me. I haven’t been able to use this app on my phone since then. It works perfectly on Android and windows on my laptop but not on my laptop. Keeps saying you have no teams orgs yet. I have orgs which I can access on my laptop! It’s a personal profile by the way. Anyone to help me out?

I had unfortunate experience of needing to download this to attend an IEP meeting. It took approximately five hundred years to download the app, then create an account I’ll never use again since Microsoft sucks, and then I had to verify my email, confirm I’m a human, all to find out I needed to use my personal email address since my school doesn’t use obsolete Microsoft to begin with. This was the most painfully annoying process and app I have ever encountered. Run… run fast and run far.

Awful

The Teams mobile app used to have a calendar view where you could see your schedule for the whole week all at once. This is the only view I ever used or needed. For some reason, they got rid of this and now you can only see your calendar for 1 day at a time. This is awful. Microsoft, please add back the view to see your whole week’s schedule at once.
